TxSU has scholarship reductions and all kinds of stuff affecting them. Not even Nick Saban can help them right now. They are not on an even playing field right now. They got give whomever they had hired as Coach some time when you get hit with them kind of sanctions. I don't think people realize how hard that is.

I know who he has hired. But if he fires Asberry after YEAR 2 and being on NCAA probation with schollie cuts and other sanctions the NCAA imposed on TxSU, then he is a PLUM FOOL. I am not an Asberry fan or nothing. But Frazier can't do no more with no scholarships and NCAA sanctions. That's my point. At PV, Charles had no NCAA sanctions on his arse to deal with so Frazier could come in and build. It was just convincing PV powers that be to actually award a full allotment of scholarships. Asberry needs at least 4 years to turn that thing around. Any coach would. If Charles wanted Frazier so bad he should have offered him big money before hiring Asberry. Wasn't like he couldn't approach Frazier. Even though I think Frazier was done wrong in Carolina by the system. He now has baggage. Charles will have a hard sell to TxSU folks to bring in Frazier after what happened in NC with his wife. TxSU needs no more controversy.

Asberry might just jet on TxSU after this season if NCC comes a calling with more money. Wouldn't that be ironic. Asberry and Frazier switch jobs. LOL. I mean Asberry was under Broadway at NCC.

For Real???? You can't be serious, he was right down the street from y'all and as a Frosh he makes good grades and is a BEAST!!!!! Not sure how they had no interest :noidea:
 
FatWorm aint going nowhere for a while.
Once they get back to SWAC play the games will be more competitive and they will be a little happier.
GR tried to tell them after the Houston game that they were in trouble but they act like they are not listening to me or they think GR is trying to run smack all the time. GR was just trying to help them out by asking "what did you see in the Houston game?"

GR is not really paying attention to the score. I was looking at how their dlinemen and LBs were nowhere to be found on most plays. Houston had a terrible pass offense and a mediocre rush offense yet they should have scored over 70 points.

The biggest excuse was "Houston runs the jet." Well EVERYBODY RUNS THE JET. BamaState runs the jet...try tackling Crimewell (the 25% of the time he is in the game.) Its going to be a long season for SU. Thank goodness for Clark. Saw them on TV yesterday...thats a win for SU. A&M is a sure win....maybe TxSU...other than that....GR just dont see it. And thats no smack.

Florida fans are pissed about the horrible display on offense the team has put together in their 2 games this year after he chased away what many perceived to be the better QB. Losing to an inferior Miami and Louisville in the Sugar Bowl along with that UL-Lafayette game has folks concerned that he may not be the coach to lead UF back to the national title conversation. He can't afford to anymore performances like the Miami game, or it could get ugly in Gainesville.

With his 2-year contract, being close to winning ain't gone cut it. He has to win now or be a lame duck coach next season.

But you guys were just last week singing his praises and defending him with gusto. NOW you suddenly are questioning his coaching ability? I wonder what changed your mind.
