Here Are The Top 10 HBCU Band Halftime Shows Of 2015





Though they're getting close, I can't wait for FAMU to get all the way back to where they once were. They've always been one of my fav bands to watch and listen too.

Congrats to all 10 bands.
 
Never been a fan of NCAT, you know how someone tries to be different just for the sake of being different, but there is nothing behind it.. I feel that from NCAT it's almost like looking at a water down PVAM

NOW... MORGAN state shocked me.. NO LIE.
 
Sorry but this half-time right chere, should've been up there top-3 somewhere, imho. I'm no band officiando so don't bash me too much lol.


ps: Jags, we're going to steal your band announcer. :D And I'm not kidding. We want that guy. :D

NCAT would kill PV on the field you can't even make out pvu formations at times NCAT haS SOLID YET creative FIELD SHOWS and their overall sound is better than PV. yes pvu had a good season but their shows arent the same.

My Frat Bruh Bedell ain't leaving Louisiana. LOL. He is second generation Juke. The drum section has a cadence named after his Dad who was a former Juke. I think he has been announcing since the early to mid 90s.
 
No SU or JSU. Let this be known that FIELD SHOWS count instead of stands. Even the top 10 shows are meh. Old school Field shows send help to these new bands. Sheesh.

I don't know. If the price is right, I'll tell him to leave. Plus, I do believe Bedell and Prairie View's band director Tim Zachery are crab brothers.

I don't understand how back In the 70's to 2004 bands had great stands and field shows now we have bands sitting in the band room for days and hours but two days on the field. Bands are performing A/B stand songs but C/D/F shows that's backwards its MARCHING band not stand band.

Y'all better put some chains on him.

We're going to unleash one of these big tall Texas gulz riding on swangas and bangas on him lol. His voice MAKES the band, imho. His timing is just damned... perfect. :D

It sounds like you definitely want to see Prairie View's band with that Jukebox flavor. That would make your band director, assistant band director/music arranger Ralph Chapman the tall bald guy on Zachery's immediate left, and the announcer who all marched in the SU Human Jukebox. Why not just change the name to Prairie View HUMAN JUKEBOX Band.
