HBCU Tournament Week thread





We need to slow them down in the paint. We need to do a better job of rebounding and defending in the paint.

We’re normally a better 2nd half team.

Perhaps TxSU isn't a good shooting team. NCCU is daring them to shoot the open 3 and TxSU is passing them up for contested shots in the paint. Assuming they advance, they will have to knock down those open shots if available in the next round.

We are not shooting the three well tonight. When shots not falling from outside you take it inside.
 
I feel like this one is for the conference. Thanks to all member schools in the SWAC for keeping the Texas Southern Tigers from getting the big head by playing very competitive or spanking that tail in conference play.

We couldn't get Briana Green involved in the game at all, and Alabama lived at the free throw line. We had chances to cut the lead and even tie, but couldn't get over the hump. Good effort.
