There were 24 FCS players drafted this year (most since 2008), including four HBCU kids.

There were more kids drafted from black schools than Texas.
I understand your point. There still should have been more. Texas isn't them same Texas that it was after Mack Brown was forced out.
 

By the way, we'll have to sort out who actually has a UDFA deal (Bell, Jackson) and who just got a camp invite (Harper)

These two kids definitely deserve their own thread. With the talent that's coming back into the Swac, I expect more dreams to come true next year. Again congrats to these young mens (in my coach McNair voice lol).
 

I will say this again: It's a number game with the NFL draft. If the SEC accounted for over 25 percent of 2022 draftees. We did pretty damn good with four selection.

Remember, you also have the Big-12, Big 10, Pac-12 and ACC to select from too.
