This may be a bit off topic but that exchange gave me an opportunity to reflect on a moment that made me have deep respect for PVAMU. The moment that sunk deep with me occurred while listening to a JSU radio broadcast of a WBB game at PV on the day that JSU's beloved Willie Richardson/"Willie Wonderful"/ 1962 BCF National Champion and ALL Conference WR and DB/ and NFL All Pro WR passed on 02/8/2016. Just before the opening proceedings of the game that afternoon, PV's game announcer
announced that Mr. Richardson had passed and asked for a moment of silence. That acknowledgement uplifted my spirits and made me feel proud that one of the original insitutions that founded this Conference did have the vested knowledge of its rich history and the many legendary Athletes that had played in it would take a moment to recognize one of its own who had starred in it so long ago that many in attendance that afternoon may not have even recognized his name.

Like last year with Grambling....ASU's victory proves that the top of the SWAC is at a true Mid-Major level. Agree?
It's debatable but I'm tilted towards a mid major.
Good job, Jags. Get the next one, too. This win was worth an additional $100,000 to the SWAC.
