Man we have to figure out what’s going on with our pitching staff.

We gave up 6 runs in the first two innings thanks to a couple of leadoff walks, a hit batter and Alcorn State making to best of those opportunities like a solid baseball team should do.

Southern pitching did a good job in the game, particularly the starter. He was not overpowering but very effective with location and change of speed. We left too many on base and committed too many error.

Franklin is good. He pitched a gem last week and got us into the 9th with a 4-1 lead. Our bill pen blew it. SU baseball will hopefully back in a couple of years.
