Gramblng Band Question?

I know that this will probably turn in to SMACK, but someone asked this question and I did not know the answer.


Question ...

Is Grambling's band the only band in the nation that wears different color uniforms during it's half time performance?

I did not know enough about the subject to offer an opinion. I'd lke a serious answer.
 
We dont wear different uniforms.. We have 3 Unis.. Throwback, All gold, and All Black.. which can go into 4 Unis wit Gold top, black pants....

We change up every game...

Only the Drum Majors change there pants for pre game, to Half time show...
 



Sir Gram, he is referring to the wind instruments wearing one Uni, and the percussion section wearing a different one.
 
All the commercials, movies, etc. that yall brag about bein in and u mean to tell me yall dont have money to order more uni's?!:confused: Is Greggs over there?!:lmao:

Just a minute ago yall said yall ain't always hatin on GSU. It's like this don't cause while yall whoopin' n!ggas *****e$ in the stand because they say yall suck, GSU is being called to do a job nationally or internationally. Greggs was good for yall, but with the cocky DIrector yall have now, we'll only see yall during football season. Class act my *****. At least GSU give due credit.SUcks that yall are such 8itches.

Yall still the worst band in the SWAC- Have been for the last 12-15 years. Yall are famous because yall are the band that Southern slaughters the weekend after Thanksgiving every year... Oh Yeah, And Eddie Rob. Other than that Grampax would be as obscure as Centenary, or Wiley. Come on yall know thats true!

Now you rockin' on GSU roots. that aint cool. Seems that if they are that bad and they are famous for "losing" band battles with SUcks, why don't they call yall instead? The Human repeat of Southern University.:flamethro Write out a new drill bytch.

I'm sure they call us 1st, and we turn them down..... Just like we turn almost everything down. And they say, "Well, there's always that 'other' band......"

"Hating" implies that we are jealous or envious, and trust.... NEVER THAT!!! :vomit:*ramblin was NEVER an option before I was at SU, so they sure aint an option now! It would take a hell of a lot to make me even CONSIDER :vomit:*ramblin. They would hafta offer me a full ride+ a lil bit on the refund check, buy me a brand-new Bach Omega F attachment trombone(large bore), pay off ALL the money I owe Sallie-Mae... And offer me Head BD position, and this is all so I could laugh in their face and say "Are you bananas?! I'm a Jag!(While I'm running off with the trombone!)" Hate.... Yeah right.

Take this and get it put on a plaque:
"We, the members of the HUman repetition of SUcks University shall forever be the bytches who hate on GSU but don't call it hating because we're afraid people will realize that we aren't as important as GSU. We shall forever take credit for GSU getting everything that we don't get because we think it will steal respect for GSU. We shall forever hate on anything in the SWAC while still claiming to be the Class Act of the SWAC. And lastly we shall kick the ***** of everyone who realizes that we really do suck.

Just thought bytchs should have something for future bytchs to remember.

What Band in the SWAC is worse than *rampax? Real talk! Name 'em. Of course the world saw what the U did to them without the spin of BET, TxSU embarassed them, and PV Cleaned your clock, yall got plastered by Hampton(they are MEAC for Pete's sake). Thats all Ive seen. IMO the jukebox had another undefeated season. Dispute it if you'd like. :winkgrin:

No, it is much more common these days. I recall it beginning somewhere either in the late 90's or early 2000's. It appeared that as bands increased in sized that they put the drummers and sometime the tubas in something different or slightly different. I think the more it was seen the more it became acceptable to other programs. I don't like it. But, as Doc use to say to people telling him what he needed to do, when you (I in this case) get your/my own band I'll have input on it. :-) Until then, it is simply a distraction to me as I attempt to enjoy what the kids are doing to attempt to entertain me.
