GRAM4LIFE said:My question had a lot bigger point than the final score. The individual I asked knows exactly why I posed the question. Someone responded by saying look at the score and that should tell you. That is a simplistic way of looking at the game if you take it at face value. I'm not looking at this one game but progessing thru the season as a whole. The score of this game has no relevance on the whole season but how the players played does. Again if you are looking at it from a progessive point of view. If the defense is competing or if the coaches are putting them in the position to compete is what I'm interested in amongst other things. That cannot be judged by the score of a game. Everyone on this board knows we were outmanned in this game so the score is what it is. My questions is much bigger than that.
But, I'm sure Dr. Sweet Nupe knows what I'm talking about.

I agree.CATMENDUE2 said:This is great sign for Grambling and Kerlegan future. I really think this was a good game for Grambling no matter what the score is.

Kerlegan is turning heads. He has established a confort level and is in a zone.

CATMENDUE2 said:If Houston don't score anymore Grambling will bust the odds and Houston folks gonna lose a lots of money.
Dr. Sweet NUPE said:I like it. I think the problem with Kerlegen was that he was never really given that moment to get in a comfort zone over his years at Grambling.
