Grambling St vs Univ of Houston Updates:

Kerlegan was taken out why? I been saying he was a beast.. and he should start.

You take out a perfectly healthy QB...replace him with your starter who is hurt in a game that does not affect you conference wise????

I'm confused as well.

My question had a lot bigger point than the final score. The individual I asked knows exactly why I posed the question. Someone responded by saying look at the score and that should tell you. That is a simplistic way of looking at the game if you take it at face value. I'm not looking at this one game but progessing thru the season as a whole. The score of this game has no relevance on the whole season but how the players played does. Again if you are looking at it from a progessive point of view. If the defense is competing or if the coaches are putting them in the position to compete is what I'm interested in amongst other things. That cannot be judged by the score of a game. Everyone on this board knows we were outmanned in this game so the score is what it is. My questions is much bigger than that.

But, I'm sure Dr. Sweet Nupe knows what I'm talking about.

I know what you were talking about but my answer of course was part public with rest private...I know what you mean.

On the flip side someone outside the family could infer that we are just playing a better calibor team with all around better assets....

TD Grambling...on a 80 yard drive. PAT is no good.

Kerlegan is turning heads. He has established a confort level and is in a zone.

UH 42, GSU 16
4th Qtr 7:10

This is great sign for Grambling and Kerlegan future. I really think this was a good game for Grambling no matter what the score is.

I like it. I think the problem with Kerlegen was that he was never really given that moment to get in a comfort zone over his years at Grambling.

Well I bet that comes to end. At least I hope it does. Kerlegan would kill the SWAC if Spears let em go.
