Global Warming Tax Scam

So now you're going off what Donald Trump says? LOL!! You're grasping for straws dude, LOL!! Donald Trump also said Bush was the worst president in the history of this country. You believe that too? LOL!!

Also, I challenge you to show me where I said that the planet is in danger. I didn't say it. I posted an article. I never said whether I thought the planet was warming due to natural causes or man made causes.

I just want to know which scientists are telling the truth. One group is saying there is warming, and the other cooling........who's right?

Now, the title of this thread is about a tax scam being forced on the world by Al Gore. This thread is about Al Gore and his crooked tax scam on the world. Are you agreeing to this tax scam?

Ok, let's do it this way.....

Is there "Global Warming" today, and if your answer is yes, then are scientists lying about the earth cooling for the past 10 years? I ask this question because one group of scientists are saying the earth is warming, and one group of scientist say the earth is cooling...........who's right? Also, if you believe there is "Global Warming", is the earth and its inhabitants in danger from the warming?

If that be the case, then where is their "Nobel Peace Prize"? Should it not go to the scientists that discovered it?

I live in Nashville, and I stepped outside to pump some gas in the whip, and for some strange reason my ears were freezing within 10 seconds. How is it that I can feel freezing temperatures while "Global Warming" is occurring today?

I see you're still caught up in weather. Weather is not the same as climate. The fact that it's seasonably cold in Nashville is no more indicative of global cooling no more than the fact that Vancouver had to import snow for the Winter Olympics is indicative of global warming. I've long stated that the Nobel Peace Prize has become more about politics than actual achievement, my thoughts already listed on the board here. Regardless, I don't see why you're so hung up on that, hell Yassir Arafat has one. I never refer to Gore because as far as I can tell he's no more a climatologist than you or I. Just because he's the loudest voice doesn't make him the most important or correct.

My actual thoughts on the issue is that the Earth goes through periods of cooling and warming, and our activities do have some degree of influence on those cycles. But our activities are merely one factor among several. I believe we're in a period of warming because all of the data indicate that, and I have yet to see one active climate scientist (key word, climate scientist), suggest that warming has not taken place. Sure, there have been numerous scientists that do no study climate that argue that cooling has taken place, but that is only evident by cherry-picking data by starting with a warm year, like 1998 or 2000, and ending with a cool year, like 2008. If you look over the last several decades, the trend has been undeniably that temperatures are increasing. If you know of an active climate scientist (again emphasis on climate scientist) that disagrees that warming has taken place, I'd love to see it.

......hmmm. NASA says the only difference is a measure of time. They even stated "If summers seem hotter lately, then the recent climate may have changed."

NASA

What's the Difference Between Weather and Climate?
02.01.05

The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time.

When we talk about climate change, we talk about changes in long-term averages of daily weather. Today, children always hear stories from their parents and grandparents about how snow was always piled up to their waists as they trudged off to school. Children today in most areas of the country haven't experienced those kinds of dreadful snow-packed winters, except for the Northeastern U.S. in January 2005. The change in recent winter snows indicate that the climate has changed since their parents were young.

If summers seem hotter lately, then the recent climate may have changed. In various parts of the world, some people have even noticed that springtime comes earlier now than it did 30 years ago. An earlier springtime is indicative of a possible change in the climate. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/noaa-n/climate/climate_weather.html

Given the example from NASA, what would be the example for what's happening throughout the US with the snow in 49 States?

It would be the same thing that's happening with below average snowfall in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, the Rocky Mountains, and New England, that would be weather. Weather is the basic trend over a period of up to 2 weeks, climate is the basic trend over the course of 30 years or more. These things are mentioned in the NASA link. What NASA is saying is that changes in climate are reflected by changes in weather.
