First Coaches Poll of 2014 . . . Guess Who's #1

Alabama fans believe in excuses...and now you say Auburn was a fluke

You Bama fans are hilarious...FSU would've beaten Bama too...Auburn was just BETTER than y'all

Don't confuse excuses with facts.

Bama's defense woulda split Jameis Winston in two. You saw how he struggled against Auburn's defense :lmao:

Ya'll slop ninjas crack me up

Not really sure what ASU and AAMU have to do with a coaches poll for teams playing on this level, but I expect ASU to compete at the top of the SWAC.

Since you decided to ask me a question out of the clear blue, I decided to return the favor. At least this time you did say something about your school besides giving Auburn and Alabama all your praises, which proves to me that the State of Alabama only has two college football teams to rely on for pride.

89,
Look at the state of Alabama with 2 in the top 5 and Big Money Texas barely in there at no. 24. Don't these coaches know how much money Texas has?
:D

yeah he struggled and WON...

Auburn was in that AZZ but Jimbo settled his team down and they got the W.

Meanwhile, BAMA had carpet burns from being drug all over the Superdome.

Just like JFF, Nick Marshall, and Trevor Knight got split in two?

So what number do you think they should be ranked Gloria James?

We only play 2 teams from the west. We aren't going to beat Alabama, but I guarantee we will beat LSU. We have always had a strong defense, LSU won't be able to hide their QB against us. Like I said, ya'll are letting 1 injury-filled season cloud your judgement about Florida. The team has a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, the defense has always been good, and if Coach Roper is as good as advertised, the offense will be at least semi-functional.

Best offensive line tandems in college football

LSU: OT La'el Collins and OT Vadal Alexander.

"At 342 pounds, Alexander is a massive, powerful interior presence. He and Collins will combine for a devastating left side for the Tigers' rushing attack this fall."

JROCK I like both La'el Collins and Vadal Alexander but those two are not going to be enough...both the QB options are garbage I don't expect much offensively for LSU this year and I am the only one who don't believe that Fournette will be all that everybody is trying to make him out to be but we shall see!

2010 Florida 8-5

2011 Florida 7-6

2012 Florida 11-2

2013 Florida 4-8

Those 3 wins came against struggling Florida teams. Those 3 seasons Florida was 19-19. Florida should not be struggling this year with a more healthy squad, and a great OC getting full control of the offense. Florida in good shape will beat Florida State book it.

Looks like Florida is just not that good anymore and had a fluke season in 2012.. until they got exposed by Louisville... (or are you gonna use the BAMA fans excuse here?)

I don't see what they hype about Fournette is either. :noidea:

Sounds like Ole Gloria J. might be a little jealous of these new kids for some reason.

You Bama kats are just basic...

Jameis did not "struggle against Auburn...he threw for 2 TD's...over 230 yards...and didn't turn the ball over

FSU had a little trouble getting started on offense, but a lot of that can be credited to one FSU's former offensive coaches, Dameyune Craig, who is the co-offensive coordinator for Auburn, helping the Tigers gameplan for Jimbo's offense. But, once again, Winston showed you guys why he is the best QB in the nation and was able to lead his team to a Nation Title...and Alabama would not have beaten FSU...period

And this year, Alabama will be led by FSU's 2nd string QB...let that marinate...

Man...you know bama fans "didn't care" about that Sugar Bowl whoopin...

You are so tiresome...why would I be jealous of these new kids...I just don't believe in everybody get a trophy without them first showing they are worthy highschool is one thing college level is something different and not every kid masters that in the first year so I will wait and make him earn my respect...punk!

When is the last time we had a losing season? When is the last time Florida had one? If Paul Johnson had Florida talent, he would win 10-11 games every year simply because of our system.

When is the last time Georgia Tech won a national title? Heck when was the last time GT was even considered a national championship contender? It must suck to see your former coach go to a mid-major program in UCF and make them more nationally relevant than Georgia Tech. lol

Now Glo, you don't have to sound so negative every time someone brings up the recent recruited kids that will probably get a starting position this upcoming season at LSU. I'm sure every athlete that steps on LSU's campus had their chance to prove themselves to become a first year starter and I'm sure others were redshirted their first year so they can develop their skills for the next 4 years. And then there are those kids that never gets the chance to develop their skills in 4 to 5 years. Lets just say, they weren't quite athletically inclined as others, which is why the NFL drafts the potentially better players in the first round and the others in the following rounds. And if a player don't get drafted, he still has a chance by getting pick up as an undrafted free agent. Not every kid at LSU or any school for that matter will make it to the NFL. So, if a kid is not draft material, lets not blame other kids for that.

Although I typed all that above, but it really seems like Fournette and Harris parents have taken over as the No. 1 parents at LSU. I bet they have prime seats in one of LSU's luxury box suites. :emlaugh:
