Wichita State is holding their own in the early going. Louisville came out tight but are back in it now.
 
I notice Wichita has 3 starters from Georgia and a whole lot AA fans behind there bench also.
 



If it was us in there we would have outnumbered everyone. :lol: :lol:

Southern U met Wichita State in the NCAA Tourney back in the 80's. At the time they were called the "Wheat Shockers." It seems like they took the wheat out of their mascot name. :lol: :emlaugh:

Naw, that lil white guard for Wichita has been pushing off all game, Wichita has been playin physical, but when Louisville gets alittle physical the refs blow their whistles. It's obvious that the white refs blow their whistles for Wichita, but swallows it for Louisville.

If anything, the refs did all they could to keep Louisville in the game early. They're just putting a foot knee deep in Louisville's azz.
 
Mysteriously when a 10 sec call is about to get called, the shot clock malfunctions. Hmmmmm........coincidently? I think not.

Wichita Kansas has some black folk there due to the Boeing facility and McConnell Air Force Base. Remember Barry Sanders is from Wichita. Also those two brothers who one ended up at Miami and the other at Tenn for football. Both transferred back to Kansas State. Bryce and Arthur Brown. Wichita State used to be a good program when Cliff Levingston, Antoine Carr, Aubrey Sherrod, and the X man came through there. They had this big white boy too that ended up in the NBA.

Just remembered the white boy was Geg Dreiling. Big 7 footer.

You too young to remember when they produce several NBA players in the 80s and they were no joke in basketball. They just didn't keep it going coaching wise. They were something to deal with. As a matter of fact, Kansas was suspect doing that time before Larry Brown took over and brought Danny Manning and his Daddy over from the state of North Carolina to Kansas. Dean Smith basically help save his alma mater twice now. LOL. First with Larry B and then with Roy Williams. When Kansas got back on track, Wichita State took a dip in their success. Good to see them back.
