Womack. What you don't understand is that of all my QB's, none are starters. Jeff Blake is my starter and he isn't starting for Bal this season. Plus I have dayum Shane Mattews, and he may not start either. See my dilema. I need a starter and I need one quick!

Maybe I will have to part with one of my defensive stars......but it won't be Urlacher!


Hey Papa's Bad Boys.........youmay want to check the trade wire. I have a deal that might interest you! And it involves the jewels of my defense........Strahan and Sharper.

All you got is Mashall Faulk and Isacc Bruce, they are there because of the system. Your Qb is coming off the injury list and is prone to throw interceptions and you have NO defense.....

Don't you see those cracks......

I was like that last year. It got so bad I ended up trading some starters just to get sorry arse Trent Green. Without a QB, you are staring last place in the face.:bawling: :bawling:

But now, I'm on top. I dare anybody to look at my roster and honestly say I don't have the best team.

I just looked at the whole schedule and I get to whoop steal city twice this year!!!!!!!!


I will be back to rank the teams. I'll start by saying dem damn hornets will be #1.

But anyway...here is my "Quick N Dirty" breakdown of the draft and who has the INITIAL edge (based on last season results and a little preseason hype)

I'll provide the TOP THREE teams (as of NOW) for each position, in no particular order:

QUARTERBACKS-
Baton Rouge River Prowlers
Durty South Vipers
Dawg Day Ballers

RUNNING BACKS-
Jacktown Express
Papa's Bad Boys
Dawg Day Ballers

WIDE RECEIVERS-
Logical 69ers
Dem Damn Hornets
Jacktown Express

TIGHT ENDS-
Mo City Eagles
Atlanta Black Bengals
Texas Flames
*why do we have TWO teams named "Flames"????*

KICKERS-
Mo City Eagles
Durty South Vipers
Dawg Day Ballers

DEFENSIVE LINE-
Dawg Day Ballers

I haven't quite figured out who the BEST OVERALL (for TODAY) is yet...but that would take some more time.

If you look, all the veterans have THREE qbs on their roster.
Why?...because we know and understand that it is essential to at least have that many.

On offense, this is the TRUTH...minus the tight ends and kickers...but as far as the money spots (QB, RB, WR), this is GOSPEL! :D

It's all good...you just didn't know. :cool:

As far as LBs are concerned...you have two "good" ones, but they addition of Earl Holmes brings your TOTAL core down a little bit. Take a look at the LBs of the others I've named...
 
It's too many mediocre teams for me to rank all, so I'll just rank the top half


(so I won't be accused of being biased, I will only rank my team #2 ;) )

1. Papa's Bad Boys (look at the rbs :eek: )
2. dem damn hornets (absolutely loaded on offense :eek: )
3. Mo City (i like the potential, will be good)
4. Logical 69ers (If only they had a good coach/owner, they might do something :lol: )
5. River Prowlers (decent squad, coach/owner will probably screw it up with a bunch of crazy moves :lol: )
6. Ballers (young team with talent, concerns about the coach/owner :lol: )
7. Miami Flames (good offense, no defense, don't think coach/owner will be able to do much)

First, 2 QBs is all I need. Second, Earl Holmes will have a stellar season. He is just adding depth to an existing terror force.

As far as you only wanting 2 qbs, I can understand that...but that will NOT gain you props in THIS league! :lol:

Ok...Well, in that case. NOBODY has done anything yet! It is still the pre-season. Wake me on the 8th of Sept. so I can see Holmes get off to a great start. :sleep2:

I guess you weren't taking into account rookies or players who were injured last year. Cause its no way my RBs aint in the top 3.

Well, you and I both know that rookies are a gamble because they've never been proven in the league. There are some rookies that are getting MAJORpreseason hype...but NONE of them are in your RB stable! :lol:

And RBs coming back after MAJOR injuries?????? :eek:
Results are nothing but a flip of the coin, so we will see...:cool:
Lewis and Edge are in that category, so let's keep it real.

If you read this, you would've understood why I chose certain teams over others. :)

The season will tell the REAL story....this is all preliminary stuff.

Okay on with the rankings.....

8. Express (Has an old team, but good though, will be competitive. Coach/owner usually is good for a few wrecks along the way :lol: )
9. Tx Flames (Solid team, nothing spectacular though. Could finish a lil higher if coach/owner is better this year :lol: )
10.Pharaohs (An old nemesis of dem damn hornets, no way will the luck continue this year. If the coach/owner does the best job ever, this team can still finish no higher than middle of the pack )
11. Stingers (No big time playmakers. Coach/owner talks the talk, don't think he'll be able to walk the walk. :lol: )
12. Phatboys (In desperate need of QB, lots of upside to this team. Good defense, decent offense, but no QB. I guess the coach/owner already has this excuse in his back pocket :lol: )
13. Blackbengals (Has Kurt Warner and little else. Hopefully, coach/owner won't be too busy reading and posting newspaper articles on TSPN to play :rolleyes: :lol: )
14. Vipers (Maybe next year. Coach/owner got lucky last year. He'll have to make a lottttttttt of moves to even be competitive this year)
