Sigma has a point. You prepare for the off-season anyway you think you need to. For me, it was having a good group of RB's so I wouldn't fall into what happened last year. No shame in that. But, Sigma is wrong about one thing. If need be, all of them CAN play. I'm trying to help you here Suge. You need the QB more than I need the WR help. WR's can be found on the WW a lot easier than starting QB's. And, no offense, but your RB corp is just as depleted as your QB spot man. That two spots to help you at instead of one who will most likely be on the sideline by Week Six.

(And, no, for Brad Johnson (#14 in the league last year, NOT number 1), you would have to come off of something else and looking at your roster, you don't have that something else.)

Just being honest.

I looked over the waiver wire and begin to wonder where did all the defensive players go. Then I look at your roster, and sure enough there are 11 defensive players. :eek2: Now, I am thinking to myself what on earth are you thinking. :confused: There is only 3 spots for defensive people in the starting lineup. The other 8 people on defense can't do you any good on the bench. :( Oh well, maybe you know something I don't know. :D
 
I was thinking the same thing Papa. If he thinks someone is going to help him trading for defense, he's a rookie indeed!

I have been wheeling and dealing. I plan on keeping the title. Look like the competition going to be stiff. I am having trouble finding defensive players while old Sting is over there 3- 4 deep. :D

I think your starters are pretty good. The problem come in when a starter go down with injuries, or benched etc. If you don?t have replacement for those starters you?re in trouble. I know there is method to your madness.;)

btw, I am in the market for a backup QB that playing week 5. Would you believe I have 3 qbs that all have the same week off.:(
 
There's an old expression that says "Defense wins championships". Sigma you should be the last one in this league to commit on a roster when you have one like yours.

I had a damn good draft and the 4 guys I got off waivers just added even more firepower to this team. Got some proven vets, and I'm sure I got 3 of the best rookies--Duckett, Portis, and Lelie-----whew!!!!!!!!!
I'm strong at every position, esp. WR and RB. I may be in the market for a good DB. I'm so loaded, I would be willing to give up one of my stars, cause I'm overloaded with them.

Not trying to talk my tem up....but dayum I made some moves last week! I got some much needed QB help. And yeah I hate I had to give up Strahan...but a brother needed some offensive fire power! Chris redman is going to be a beast.....and when Brad Johnson gets hurt, and Rob Johnson has to play the rest of teh season. I will have a sleeper in my ranks! I went from having no offense, to having a juggernaut!

And for you idiots that think I am going to give up Boston or Joe Horn for one of your pathetic QB's, come on man. Who do you think I am.......Sting? I know football! There is no way in hell I want Flutie, he may not even start(and that was my problem before) and you can keep Kerry Collins. Neither of those lames is worth any of my offensive juggernauts!

Get Ready.......I would hate to be you right now!

Man when Strahan only has 12 sacks this season, and he isn't a scoring machine like all of you think, then I will have made the best trade in the league! But if you don't like my trade.........who cares. The Phatboys are playing for the phatboys, And all I know is that in week 1. I am going to make the 69'ers, 68's. Besides Peppers is going to have double digit sacks and more than compensate me for loosing Strahan. Plus I have the 2nd best defensive player in the game at LB.......Urlacher!

Dude you have Jamal Lewis....I had Kevin Faulk and other kats that didn't even start! You just better hope Portis gets some playing time.


And I just made another move to solidify my offense. Man I just love this free agent wire!

Let me say this once and for all! Boston and Horn...aren't going anywhere! I won't trade them for anything or anyone, other than Terrel Owens! Hell I only traded Strahan because I needed a RB, and that dayum Papa had them all!

Yeah I feel you with Heap. he is going to be a be time player this fall. Sharpe is gone, and Heap played well last year. That is why I picked up Redman. Even though Baltimore is ball control........Redman is poised to have a big season with Taylor, the Missle, and Heap. Plus he has Lewis back. And a back like that can make any QB look good!



P.S. - Hey Womack. Guess who you play in week 2! So after Papa beats that arse, you have to run into the Phatboys! All You Can Eat!
