Why so much smack on an announcement or an article that a kid has arrived at JSU? Why are you guys trying to hurt us so? Why all the negative comments saying that he wont pan out and he is just a recruit and what he did in high school wont translate to college? Whats the problem yall?
If that article had said that Britt was a second string QB in high school and is going to walk on at JSU, none of you guys would have typed a stroke. But since this kid was second to Terrell Pryor, you guys just cant hide your fear. If you were smart, you would have said congratulations and went into your private forums to discuss this.

We proved last year that you are not on our level. We beat yall down....broke yall up and ended your season. Our coach went off on yall....our fans stepped up in that raggedy ass staduim talking noise and then our band told yall to go home.

Why is it when JSU makes an annoucement of a top recruit or any recruit, you guys try to minimize his effectiveness? When Jimmy Oliver was announced, in came the critics. When Haw was announced, they almost had to shut this damn board down. You folks from SU should be the last folks to have anything to say about a JSU recruit. Those recruits have been absolutely smashing SU.
Even when the recruits from Tuscaloosa aint that good according to Dahill. I doubt he would have been so hard on them had they been sorry enough to go to ASU. But oh well....lets see how bad these QBs and RBs turn out. You know how good SWAC defenses are?

And how did GR know this was coming? Even though the article said Ohio and Michigan put Britt on the back burner for Pryor, here comes a list of the top QBs throughout the country.
So let GR rephrase his comment. Britt was second on the list of Michigan and Ohio State and many other D1 schools in that area.
But GR would like to thank Styles for letting him know that JSU recruited one of the top QBs in the country. GR didnt know he was ranked that high.
OH well....we still dont have a QB though :emlaugh:

That's just the dual threat list GR, but great pick up. Since Britt is from UP NORTH, I know he's going to do well.

GR aint bragging on him yet Styles. He has not put a helmet on and gone through two-a-days in MISSISSIPPI yet. What GR says not only goes for others, it goes for my school too. He got homesick earlier...Im sure the heat was working on him. Hopefully the longer he stays, the tougher he gets. On top of everything, he is darkskinned, a definite plus.

I never made a statement saying that you did. I was just wondering since you've seen him on film, would you consider him to be soft since he's from up north? It's no smack, and again congrats on the recruit.

Right now Sting we are celebrating the fact that JSU pulled a top recruit from a thousand miles away from home. He aint desparate, he is not academically challenge, and he is really good. If not Michigan or Ohio State, that kid could have gone to a number of schools on the east coast or the state of Ohio. Hell they have 4 MAC schools, at least, in Ohio alone.
How effective he will be remains to be seen. Right now we just want to celebrate the fact that Woody, my favorite JSU OC of all time, pulled a damn good all around athlete. Stay tuned....
