Do people really understand why MAGA wants to cut the federal workforce?

Maybe you missed this..

Can you provide any information from a non partisan organization that has studied the impact of illegal immigration on the Black American community?
👆🏽👆🏽 👆🏽 Careful it's a trap, Mr. uninformed "Me" is setting you up.

Your party loves immigrants more that you. Their most loyal voter base.

Resources to illegal..I mean undocumented immigrants....💰💰💰

Resources to Black Americans their most loyal voter base...🥲
I knew you would dissappear.
Let me help you...

"Illegal immigration causes wages and employment to fall for black workers. When this happens, some of those workers -- especially those with the lowest skills -- turn to crime to increase their income."

All of you who voted for Candidate Harris voted against your own people.

Supporting anyone that endorses or defends illegal immigration is directly hurting Black Americans. Man you all voted against your own family.

You're looking at things in too small a time period, and all of you need to step back and stop defending the indefensible. Democrats nor Republicans have push through a policy that has helped black folks in more than right around 15 years.

As for immigration, If you don't start with Reagan your premise will be off. Both parties are full of shit. At times each party has had control of both houses and the executive branch and did nothing.

As the nation's attention turns back to the fractured debate over immigration, it might be helpful to remember that in 1986, Ronald Reagan signed a sweeping immigration reform bill into law.
The law granted amnesty to nearly 3 million illegal immigrants, yet was largely considered unsuccessful because the strict sanctions on employers were stripped out of the bill for passage.

At he end of the day that policy served to incentivize border crossings and exploitation of illegals by American employers. The Republican Party nor Trump is going to turn on big business. Earlier this year Trump killed a bipartisan immigration bill championed by Republican legislators so he could use it to run on. He isn't going to do a damn thing about it now either other than provide a show for the gullible. He has used visas and had illegals employed at Mara Lago himself.

Senior Senate Republicans are furious that Donald Trump may have killed an emerging bipartisan deal over the southern border, depriving them of a key legislative achievement on a pressing national priority and offering a preview of what’s to come with Trump as their likely presidential nominee.

In recent weeks, Trump has been lobbying Republicans both in private conversations and in public statements on social media to oppose the border compromise being delicately hashed out in the Senate, according to GOP sources familiar with the conversations – in part because he wants to campaign on the issue this November and doesn’t want President Joe Biden to score a victory in an area where he is politically vulnerable.

For years, President Donald Trump has insisted it’s impossible to find Americans to fill seasonal jobs at his hotels, resorts, and wineries, leaving him no choice but to hire foreign guest workers instead.

But government records obtained by BuzzFeed News reveal for the first time that at least 58 US workers applied for the temporary jobs as cooks, servers, and housekeepers at Mar-a-Lago and other Trump resorts from early 2014 through mid-2018.
Only one of them appears to have been hired.

According to media reports, Trump properties have also employed undocumented immigrants to perform gardening, maintenance, and groundskeeping work, but in the wake of public attention have begun terminating those employees — some of whom have worked for the resorts for years.

Damn you for setting the record straight! There is something to be said for being old enough to remember reagan's bullcrap and how it lingers to this day.

Yeah..yeah..yeah. One can't change the past and these morons don't know any history. So i start with how we can help ourselves today.

You want to be all back up big picture with people that can't see the wart on the end of their own nose.

You have to feed intellectual children milk before solid food. International condensing tone because of all the names they have called me.

If nothing else, every Black American including you needs to be clear on 1 topic.

No matter Republican, Democrat, ACLU, or any other group or organization supporting mass immigration.

What is the impact of mass immigration legal or not on Black Americans?

I know you know the answer but people need to say it.

It needs to be etched into people's brains. Mass immigration negatively impacts Black Americans. A vote supporting mass immigration is a vote against Black Americans.

I read through every single post and felt some type of way. I wanted to jump in side-ways but my old raggedy ass cannot jump the way I used to lol.

Nice post, by the way. It is true. Both parties are full of shit and it is filled with personal shit on both sides. Most of us have lived the benefits of both sides at some juncture. I doubt anyone here on this site was born more financially poor than I so I speak from experience and ascension's sake.

Both parties might be full of Shit but one actually proves it daily. One is about to send the country into a recession.

Also despite having full control of the Congress is NOT a greenlight to make as many laws that you want. There is a process.
How many laws have the GOP blocked despite EVERYONE supporting them? Especially GOP folks in DEEP RED STATES that can't get voted out of office.

Along with big donors like the NRA and Elon Musk.

Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia and Tennesse finishes last in education and quality of life and low life expectancy. One would have to be on crack and delusional to think otherwise and yet those states vote red constantly. Conservatives love to bring up the inner city of California and Chicago, but what they don't tell you is the worst students in those educational places get a better education than the top students in the states mentioned above. Ignorance is really bliss.

You always have to add west Virginia to this list or else republicans will just blame red states' failures on "the Blacks" like they always do.

Some are starting to see my point. I'm not a Trump supporter. People chose to put that on me because I criticized the Democratic party. I think they are 2 wings on the same bird.

I don't always agree with Dr. Umar but this clip is pretty good. Black Americans have been bamboozled be both parties.

There is a common theme underscoring both parties. That's the trash which has my attention and it has nothing to do with race.

A lot of black people have been saying that for a while now. I've said to you before and others when the Texas Democratic Party, in the mid 90's, told the first black man who had been elected to state wide office since reconstruction, the recently departed Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Morris Overstreet, he wasn't a good enough candidate for state attorney general I bailed and have been an independent every since.

As I said earlier this week, neither party can be defended, both are full of shit. Some think that because one party says f_ _ k you and the other other says forget you they some are not saying the same thing although they prove it all the time.

Either are both parties can produce tangibles that will help everybody and blacks folks will benefit as well, but that is not the interest they serve.

I disagree with both parties being the same. Democrats try to address the issues facing the voters and the country. Republicans focus on tax cut and social issues, i.e., guns, DEI, abortions, etc, And the economy preforms better when Democrats are in charge.

There is good and bad with both sides. However it seems everyone and their mother only wants to target Democrats. Who tends to do better when in charge after they fix the mess the other party does.

One tries and the other does not. One tries to win over everyone and the other as of now only cares about one demographic.
We got folks that will talk heck a lot of mess about Democrats leading up to the election and then AFTERWARDS....
CRY to Democrats for help like we see here...

Rashida Talib is leading a protest to demand Biden to help
But isn't SHE the one that said Harris had to be taught a lesson????

Folks are quick to scream what Democrats have NOT done. Yet SILENT on what Republicans have NOT done. As Cee pointed out with all those states that are at the bottom of wages and education that stay RED.

$50 Billion is what Texas will lose with deportation. As much damage Abbott has done and now WHITE school districts are screaming-he can run again and not offer any solutions and still get a TON of votes. His Democrat opponent won't be able to do the same.

When do folks call Republicans to the carpet? How long with WHITE voters keep voting for them with the attitude of as long black folks suffer with us-we're cool.

I'm not saying they're identical. State, regional and local interest naturally create differences in intra-party politics, but at the federal level things are done right before our eyes that indicate there is not much difference between the two parties as we would like to think.

Have you ever asked yourself how did Biden end up appointing and allowing a man to remain attorney general that dragged his feet for years on prosecuting Trump? I have, and I don't think the appointment of Merrick Garland was by accident, but instead intentional.

Recall, Biden was Barack's VP. Late in Barack's second term, his lame duck year, Supreme Court Justice Scalia passed away. Mitch McConnell, out of spite for Barack's presidency more than anything else, made it known publicly he was not letting a confirmation hearing take place for another justice although Barack still had ten months left in his presidency at the time.

Barack decided he would still try to fill the vacancy anyway. After consultation with another old guard republican, Orin Hatch, he was advised republicans would let Merrick Garland get through. That never happened although Barack went ahead and publicly tapped Garland for the vacancy. I hope you see where I'm going with this by now.

Since Biden was Barack's VP, and new those details very intimately, why would he appoint someone republicans had no misgivings about? What was the real reason behind Merrick Garland taking his sweet time, around two years after already being in office, to actively prosecute Trump?

I believe Garland was intentionally appointed to slow walk the prosecution. I don't believe it bothered his nor Biden's conscious one bit either. Recall what I said earlier, the republicans had no issue with Garland.

In a nutshell, I believe the fix was in from the very beginning. A group of old white privileged men, Biden & Garland, decided to protect another old white privileged man, Trump. Party affiliation and justice took a back seat to the good ole boy fraternity.

As for the economy, you get no argument here. Data supports the markets perform better and job creation trend upwards when democrats are governing.

This is why when Republicans bring up Chicago, New York and California you have to close your ears. Numbers don't lie. Only lips. Although the population of the south red states grew. The quality in life is at the bottom. Here's what stood out in this article!!!

That includes Alabama, which gained around 26,000 people through domestic migration, and another 16,000 from international migration. Those figures were more than enough to offset the fact that Alabama, for the fourth year in a row, saw more deaths than births.
Alabama is one of 17 states to lose population through natural change. It’s a sign that the state, and some others, may still have yet to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Alabama had never seen more deaths than births in modern history until it did so in 2020.
Almost every state in the nation grew in 2024, but while the South grew like kudzu, it was also home to two of the three states that lost people. Both Mississippi and West Virginia shrank last year

Looks like the South African is wreaking havoc in DC and hasn’t been elected to jack, but empowered by the salesman and chief. Economic apartheid and snake oil seller…The Musk and Trump experience!

This is what Republicans and third party wanted.

But Trans in bathrooms was the huge issue that folks felt was more important.

Anyone seen Jill Stein and Cornell West???

How stable is the GOP where your president is threatening his own party with being primaried?

Yeah that works in Texas as Abbott sort of proved. That does not work in areas where it's a sea of blue and you are the only red dot as California proved.

This is flat out evil, the era of pain has begun:

The slimmed-down version was stripped of language that would have allowed children with relapsed cancer to undergo treatments with a combination of cancer drugs and therapies. (Currently the Food and Drug Administration is only authorized to direct pediatric cancer trials of single drugs.) The bill also didn’t include an extension of a program that gave financial lifelines, in the form of vouchers, to small pharmaceutical companies working on rare pediatric diseases. It was also missing earlier provisions that would have allowed for kids on Medicaid or CHIP—that is, poor children—to access medically complex care across state lines.

For political veterans, however, the most striking absence in the revised bill was the language that would have extended funding for the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Program.
