Thanks to the senate some of the cancer research funding was restored. Unfortunately, only two of the five funding measures, all aimed at pediatric care, made the cut.
But in the end, the Senate on Friday renewed the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act, named after a 10-year-old girl who died from an inoperable brain tumor in 2013, in a unanimous vote. The bill extended $12.6 million in annual cancer research funding through 2031, allowing the National Institutes for Health to continue researching the biology of childhood cancer and structural birth defects.
But three other cancer-related measures were scrapped at the end of 118th Congress. Those include a new policy that would have made it easier for low-income children on Medicaid to cross state lines for specialized cancer treatment, and two bills aimed at incentivizing pediatric cancer drug development.

An the main reason why MAGA wants to get rid of federal jobs are the jobs black women hold. They want to get rid of the black women at the VA, the social security administration and IRS. They know black women have more education than anyone and it bothers them to see black women in white collar jobs. They want Becky Becks the blonde in those positions. They also want to get rid of TSA and the post office because they feel to many black people have those jobs with pension and health insurance that should be for white people. Plus let's be real all white people aren't racist but 99.99% MAGA are racist pricks.

Federal workers warned majority’ of government agencies will be downsized and Thursday is last day to take buyouts
The Trump administration warned federal workers Tuesday that the “majority” of government agencies will be downsized and that a buyout offer extended last week will not be renewed.The so-called “Deferred Resignation” program offers more than 2 million federal employees unwilling to comply with a return to office mandate about eight months of pay and benefits if they resign before midnight on Thursday.
“There will NOT be an extension of this program,” read an email to government workers from the Office of Personnel Management.
OPM further warned workers choosing to stay put that they should expect changes under President Trump’s leadership “built around four pillars.”
“While a few agencies and even branches of the military are likely to see increases in the size of their workforce, the majority of federal agencies are likely to be downsized through restructurings, realignments, and reductions in force,” OPM noted.
“These actions are likely to include the use of furloughs and the reclassification to at-will status for a substantial number of federal employees,” the agency added.
OPM argued that the planned downsizing will result in a “more streamlined and flexible” government workforce.
The agency also notified government workers that they shouldn’t be surprised by “consolidation and divestitures” that could result in “physical office relocations for a number of federal workers.”
Government employees can also expect “enhanced standards of conduct” and a workplace culture structured around “performance” moving forward, OPM said.

Quite dumb or hoodwinked, that is apparent. Some if not all of the money for the tax cuts to the rich is happening at the expense of the federal workforce this time. The total compensation, labor + benefits, from staff reductions will add up to a hefty sum. The rich will also double dip when they collect from outsourced contracts to make up for the work that was being done by federal workers.Wait Didn't MAGA blacks say Immigrants take black jobs? Since Dump and his crew are hell bent on maintaining the permanence of white supremacy, the general contracting will be awarded exclusively to whites and a sliver of subcontracts will go to blacks.

I saw a story of a white woman losing her new job at the VA because of the canceling of DEI program that was setup to help former veterans get jobs inside of the VA. Her and whole family moved to the state 2 weeks before her job started (she and her husband voted for Trump).
