Coach Prime is still well-liked by many fans in Jackson; many of whom will be primarily following JSU football and then Colorado this fall.

You can't change what already has happened, so don't waste your time thinking about it. Move On, Let Go, Get Over It and #GuardTheeYard!

The legacy of Sanders is using a HBCU to get a better job. Same as other coaches at other schools.

The attention whore came and got you attention at JSU and won some games. Produced ONE NFL player.

7 other coaches have better records than Sander at JSU.
Not one begged for players to get drafted.

Yet folks want to prop Sanders up as a savior??? There is a REASON he's at Colorado and not a bigger school. Because they SEE through all that flash and flair.

He better win there and I don't mean just win games and think that is enough.

JSU pursued Coach Prime, he just didn't up show at 1400 JR Lynch Street asking for the position.

Once Jackson State athletic director Ashley Robinson heard the words he needed to, he dropped to his knees and thanked God. When he wrapped up that phone call, he let out a celebratory shout from his home office so loud that it startled his wife, who rushed in to make sure he was OK.

“To be honest with you, nobody thought that I would pull this off,” Robinson said. “It was a lot of speculation, and it was like, No way. There’s no way Deion Sanders is coming to Jackson State.”
