Dear SWAC Office, are other players not from Grambling allowed to win player of the week?

Look whether folks like it or not GSU is dominating....let me say it again dominating....we are on a 22 game winning streak and Fobbs has only lost 3 home games since coming to GSU. Heck there are times we are winning by 2 or 3 TDs and he takes out his starters, tones down plays, starts running to play the clock....meaning he takes his foot COMPLETELY off the gas.

Now you all can bitch and moan at the SWAC office but really how can you complain about not getting a POW when you play teams with losing records or teams below the FCS?

The 3 best teams in the SWAC are GSU, PV, and Alcorn. We dominated PV and Alcorn.

But hey we don't get the credit we just GSU. LOL

I said the same thing and got beat up, but the solution is just that simple
 
Let me get this straight...

Gram plays a lower division team, one of their players are awarded POTW and Gram sees no problem.
Valley plays a lower division team, one of their players gets snubbed and Gram points out that they played weaker competition, ignoring the fact they just got rewarded for playing weaker competition.

Gram folks out here acting like Trump supporters.

I do agree that the strength of your opponents should be a factor in picking a POTW. Every team in the SWAC should be held to a standard. From Grambling to Valley, standout players should be recognized for good performances against same level competition. Who cares if a QB tossed 7 touchdowns vs Lane? The QB who tossed 3 against Tennessee State or Delta State should get the praises.

If they would have beat Alcorn, Bryant would have got snubbed for Higginbottom lol. Hopefully with McClelland as the commish, there will be more accountability with these awards
