I'm going make a prediction about these FCS vs. FBS Games....

One these times just playing one of these FCS vs. FBS games is going to cost a top Ranked FBS Team a Playoff Spot. I'm sure the Playoff Commitee does look at Strength of Schedule in addition to several other factors. Imagine an Undefeated Team in the top 5 being left out of the Playoffs due to playing an FCS Game?

The 17-yard punt and opting to play for OT instead of trying to get a FG to win in regulation is what doomed them.
 



So Hampton loses by 3 to Richmond (OOC FCS).

And FAMU is leading Samford (OOC FCS).

My vision starts with a very simple phrase: You Have To Crawl Before You Can Walk.

Before the SWAC Can Even Think about being the best in FCS, we must first prove we are the best FCS Conference PERIOD....Outside the SWAC-MEAC Challenge and Celebration Bowl.

Somehow this happened without MEAC schools playing SWAC schools, so why exactly would we need to play MEAC schools again?
 
I agree. MEAC and SWAC need to play more interconference games. Not the MEAC/SWAC Challenge. I say cut that out. It was a shame to see the ~70K Citrus Bowl stadium with just over 7K fans in there.

I miss the days when FAMU played Southern. I've been to games in Tallahassee and in Baton Rouge and the rivalry and excitement was amazing. Sellouts every game too.
