One of the FBS vs FCS games I've really got my eye on today is Jacksonville St. vs. Auburn. Possible insight into next season's game between Auburn and Alabama A&M.

JxSU just drove downfield of Auburn, but stalled on the 16 and missed the FG.

JxSU is a good FCS team. This is a glimpse of what SWAC football teams could look like. Right now, they are getting great talent recruiting, and picking up some key FBS transfers.

8 SEC transfers

That's huge for talent and depth.

Yeah I heard that during the game that they got 8 SEC transfers (most from Bama and Auburn). Those type of players will have to want to come to the SWAC. We seem to be shifting back to the offensive minded conference that made us famous so that's where I think those are the type of transfers we will get

Auburn and Cam Newton had a tough game with they went to Mississippi State early in the season. I believe it was Auburn first road game, and some considered it a trap game for Auburn. Auburn barely won 17-14. We saw what happened the rest of that season. I am very interested to see how Johnson will do as the season goes.

Yes, I did say this last week. Simply put the quarterback cannot throw the ball right at the defender. He also did that last week

USF has played a physical game. FSU has picked it up in the third.

Johnson will end up at Bama State if he doesn't get it together. Jacksonville State isn't that much better than teams in the SWAC.

Let's see if the depth can hold up for the Gamecocks! Auburn got away with a major hold which allowed Johnson to throw that pass.
