What does that got to do with Doug liking the passing game? If he has Wrs meaning plural. Doug gone throw it. He had to adjust to what he had last season. But you know Damn well he gone try to set DJ up to break some Gram records on his watch. Ground and pound ain't his m.o.

Yeah he's gonna air it... and that's not necessarily a bad thing. While I didn't like the Spread Offense that's too pass oriented, I do like the Pro I because it's more versaltile and has to have an element of the run game to be successful. Not only does he want to get DJ some records, he also wants to get him into the NFL... him and others. The Pro I offense gives him the best chance and a running game is important to make that happen.

He's gonna use Roberts in all sorts of ways... in fact, he released him to go and run track. Doug is making sure he doesn't get banged up in camp AND that kid has breakaway speed...enuff to get him into the league. But yeah... we're throwing that pill this season. I'm cool with that... DJ is a passing qb!
 



That's why we have an offensive line to move trash out the way so he can run straight. He does that very well. Don't worry you have two more years to watch him run straight.
 
Roberts is Garbage and Gooden isn't too far behind. Southern has the best back in the SWAC and this will be proven in 2012
 



when ol stump first got the job he said the fags had the best running back in the nation. now ol boy say they have one better than roberts. what dey on. lol.

As for a coaching search. You can't really do one at this stage of the game. You will have to pull what Ohio State did last year after the Tressel resignation and make an assistant the interim coach for one year. I am sure ole Pete would volunteer for 200K. LOL. He is still in BR. The Haywood cat that Pittsburgh fired is living in Houston waiting on a coaching job now that he got his charges dropped for his confrontation with his girlfriend. Dude is working for an Oil company. Surely he can be had.

Hey JR...anything is better than they have on their staff right now....If Stump leaves , Pete could be a quick patch work until next season......However, SU'S BOARD is the reason for that mess ther in BR. Dude , Mitchell really wants out and I think in time he will bail....even during spring drills......
