Broadway Wants to Revise Schedule

They better worry about AAMU, cause if JStankU losses to TStankU then AAMU gonna break both foots in Jackson and win the East. JSU might not win a game against a team with a winning record all season long. Dey awful I just watch them.

You sure you was watching the right ESPN channel on the right day? We played Saturday, not Sunday.

Do you know what's crazy about the whole argument in this conversation? Most FBS schools feel the same way about FCS schools.

JState needs to leave Broadway the (expletive) along. He'll definitely curse you out.

We're not scared of Broadway. Hell if we werent afraid of Bell (and he was light skinnened), then Broadway and his "Dog and Pony show" dont scare us.

Negro please.
We gave the last 3 to Tennessee State including last year when Comegy didn't go for the field goal to put the game away and still treated AAMU like one of VICK's pitbull's that lost a fight.

I guess. He was the guy that confronted Broadway after '07 Bayou Classic. Broadway told him that he didn't need this (expletive) job.

Yeah, that is when Broadway told them Ramblin folks that he dont care about this "Dog and Pony show" and then proceeded to tell them that they could take their job and shove it.

Dude.
AAMU beat Tennesse state in 2007.
We kicked AAMU's arse in 2007.
They lost to Tennessee state in 2008 and so did we.
We kicked AAMU's arse in 2008.

What other Bamma butt kissing excuses will you pull out next.

I agree... There are many easy wins playing the conference schedule. There is not a team in the SWAC that should be considered a tough win. We do not need to be scheduling D2 teams when you already play in the SWAC.

The league's 9 game mandate puts the emphasis on winning the SWAC...in fact it underscores that our main priority is making the SCG. Broadway probably feels like, so if that's the case, I'll just schedule two cupcakes, play the 9 game mandate and go 10-1; 11-0 every year.

That's whats going on in his mind...

Right! Cause reading & comprehension wasnt a priority at Ramblin.....that's why I transferred.

Why stop there?

Beans are you serious or is this just an attempt to "win" a discussion. Surely you know damn well how that works. Broadway makes a comment somewhere along the line during the interview and the writer can place it where it has the most effect. It most likely wasn't even related to the writer's opinion.

Blue,

You guys and JSU can get away with playing a PoDunk U from a crowd perspective as your attendance base is sizeable enuff that fans will drive on over to the stadium to tailgate and watch the game anyway.

Every Grambling home game is a "road" game for most of it's fans... The closest city of size is Monroe at 36 miles, Shreveport 70 plus miles, Alexandira about 90 miles. Those fans ain't gonna drive to see us play no names...hell they done lost interest in the teams that do come to Grambling. Only Bama State seems able to get an occasional win!

So is Ok. State coming to Grambling?

Broadway crying about the schedule huh? Well you cant compare yourself to Florida cause you dont have Floridas money.

I thought the Gram fans on the board was excited about the schedule. Werent you suppose to beat SCSU and NW? Are yall having a change of heart?

STC aint havin a change of heart. The okie state is a bit much but the rest of the schedule is good.

Nobody wants to c podunk u.

Quit crying and man up! Get the team ready to play. Besides okie state every game on our schedule is winnable.

Gotdayum!

He does this every year wit his belly aching. He too good of a
coach for that.

What does beating langston or concordia do for attendance and sales and Advancement of the program?

Not a dayum thang.

Have the team prepared and that's it!

That's your job as coach. Okie state is too much but after that it is a good winnable slate.

Gets on my last nerves when he talks like this.

Damn!

After saturday STC will read more excuses.

Shame.

MikeBigg, I think his only concern is playing a BCS opponent. We need to play SCST, App State, Georgia Southern, McNeese, SFA, FAMU, and other top FCS schools. If we are going to play FBS schools, stay away from the BCS ones as we are only collecting a pay check with no chance in hell of winning.

But, on a serious note this short sigthed SWAC 9 Game Mandate is going to kill our program. The SWAC does not challenge Grambling from a football perspective. There are no good teams in the SWAC East with the exception of maybe Ala A&M, hopefully they can right the ship over there. In the west it is only Grambling currently. I wish Pete recruited at Southern, but it seems like every since Nick Saben discontinued the transfer pipeline from LSU to SU they have struggled to get talent. I wish Grambling could play teams of SCST level every week. Those boys were big, strong, fast, and play very physical. They truly mirror Grambling as the talent level is about the same, but I believe they caugth us off guard early with there level of physical play, but we showed we can play fast and physical as well. There were few penalties committed by both teams. It was a true D1-FCS College football game. Now go to ESPN360, and tell me about that other crap being played in the SWAC. D2 at best.

We will destroy the SWAC current year. There is not a team in this conference that can challenge Grambling, thus we don't need to schedule cup cake games, we play in a conference with cup cakes.
