Brittney Griner, game changer!

As I said almost 5 years ago, this young lady was going to change the game. BG dropped 25 points last night against UConn. What was more impressive is her 9 blocks. UConn shot 3 free throws, which means BG turned them into a jump shooting team (game changer).

This girl is the best female basketball player in the world, RIGHT NOW. She is better than anybody on any level (middle school to pros)!

ESPN Sportscenter Highlights of Griner

Now, there is another kid who is 6'8, in the 9th grade in Brenam, TX (home of blue-bell ice cream). She will be better than Griner! Mark my words, her name is Teirra McCowan!

Sorry, but a healthy Candace Parker would school her all day(just ask Sylvia Fowles). Griner is just taller and stronger than those other girls. As far as skill goes, there are many other players that are better her.

LMAO Folwes would eat her alive in the paint. BG would get schooled by Candace Parker and maybe a retired Lisa Leslie. If BG was 6'3 she would be avg.

You can't discount height and size. That helps a lot of people. If Jordan would have been 6'1, he would have been a lot different player. If Shaq was skinny...

Thank You, definitely the best player in college right now(although ya'll should check out Delle Donne at Delaware), but not the best on all levels. Right now, she is the only prominent post player in college. Remember 2 years ago when Tina Charles took her to school in the NCAA tournament and she was giving up a lot of size?

If she was 6'1? Really, LOL! SHE AIN'T 6'1, she's 6'8!

She is the most dominant player in women basketball, the most dominant offensive player and defensive player. Name ONE player who impacts the game MORE than she does on both ends of the floor? ON ANY LEVEL! Again, she played with nothing but professionals this summer and LEAD THE TEAM IN SCORING!

Brittany Griner will change the game when she makes women college basketball relevant. Right now it hasn't been ever since UConn's winning streak ended. All she is, is a tall chick playing basketball.

I have to agree with Sperm on this. That if she wasn't that tall argument is silly.

This pic, she is standing beside a 5'7 highly recruited PG out of Little Rock, AR. In fact, this kid is who the OSU coaches were going to see play on a recruiting trip when their plane crashed. 6'8 & 5'7.

your opinion on women college basketball being relevant is irrelevant and has nothing to do with her changing the game. UConn vs Baylor women basketball on ESPN is relevant!

So? Professional bowling and pool are on ESPN. That doesn't mean those sports are relevant? When I start reading and watching coverage of the sport being close to that of men's college sports or professional sports, then I'll know women's college basketball is not irrelevant.

I gotta agree with Kendrick on this.

The only thing amazing about Brittney Griner is her height in comparison to other women. That is the only thing that leads to her being the "best" scorer, "best" defensive player ... blah, blah, blah.

It's like being the tallest midget in the midget basketball league. While that midget might have the "best" stats, it's really nothing to write home about. Nothing impressive or game changing about it.

What part of the game has she changed Sperm??? So what she makes a team shoot jumpers, tall people do that. She ain't the first and won't be the last. She's a great college player. But quit acting like this girl is doing something that hasn't be done a million times already.

SYLVIA FOWLES she avg 20 and 10 this pass WNBA season she is the best POST player in WBB right now!!! BG is not better then Big Syl, SORRY. I heard this same BS when Courtney Paris was in school look how she turned out.

She aint did nothing Courtney Paris didnt do at Oklahoma. Now she is a GREAT player.... but game changer?

her name is Teirra McCowan!

:slap: You're all up on the 411 Sperm! :D lol Yes sir, that is she. :read:

Also, there's another lady (sr this fall) who hails in the A&M Consolidated (6' 7") but is more of a power-post type that I think aTm has pretty much seduced her parens into forking her over to aTm. My kinfolk aren't the brightest bunch. :smh:

You, didn't know that you mattered, nobody knows you, LOL!
