I believe that it's all in the bible...
I'll take that as a "no", since it's so hard for you to simply say "yes". Thanks for your honesty.
How can I ever say no to my Savior in Christ Jesus? I will always say yes.
So you actually believe that a donkey spoke Hebrew?! It's your right to believe this, but it's also my right to question what's in the bible.
If you say that that everything in the bible is true, then you have to believe the following:
a) the sun stopped, inspite of there not being a single historical record of such an event by any culture in the history of mankind;
b) that evil spirits are the cause of diseases inspite of what we know today due to modern science and the microscope;
c) that the sun revolves around the earth and that earth is the center of the universe inspite of what we've know via astronomy.
How can biblical stories like this be called the "truth" when we now know beyond any shadow of a doubt that none of them are true?
If folks can believe the above info, can it even be said that they'll believe anything, including the notion that homosexuals should be put to death as stated by the biblical god?
Leviticus 20:13 "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
Yes, it's true that all scripture is inspired by God and all those who worship and serve the Lord believe this to be true.
RB, do you know what you're claiming?
If you say that ALL scripture is inspired by an all-knowing god, then why did this god inspire his prophets to record information that's totally false?
Why would he do this, then claim it as truth?
It's all in the book.
For some odd reason, you're mighty afraid to directly answer simple questions. What are you afraid of?
It's all in the book.
I agree, it's in the book. Let me repeat it:
a) the sun stopped in midstream, inspite of there not being a single historical record of such an event by any culture in the history of mankind; Do you know how much this would've disrupted every planet and moon in our solar system? I guess not.
b) that evil spirits are the cause of diseases inspite of what we know today due to modern science and the microscope;
c) that the sun revolves around the earth and that earth is the center of the universe inspite of what we've know via astronomy.
Yes, THAT'S in the book you label as being all truth. LOL!!
It's all in the book.

Whenever a person asked Christ a question, Christ most often replied "have you not read...?" He asked a question with a question because "it's all in the book". Yep, if folks only knew what's in the book.
RB, I thought it was blasphemy to compare yourself to your god.
As far as you answering a question with a question, perhaps the reason you do this isn't because you're following after the example of the Jesus figure, you just don't know the answer and aren't courageous enough to admit that you don't know, nevertheless that's your prerogative.
You're right, because they would see what nonsense lies within it.If the world only knew what it has in THE BOOK, we would not have to have discussions like this one
Despite your derision, it is not blasphemy to compare yourself to God; rather, it is revealing to have one's darkness exposed to light.RB, I thought it was blasphemy to compare yourself to your god...

Well to be honest, when I look by on my own religious experiences, it is kind of laughable in comparing oneself to something I'd never seen, heard, felt, smelled or touched.
With that said I adjure you to stop having religious experiences. Rather, yield yourself to God and experience His life, love, and intimacy. There are an eternity of blessings awaiting you.
