Anyone on this or not....

It's been on the rise for these last few months. Hit will hit 10K before the end of the week.

I've just got on it last week and wish I would have done it sooner.

At the rate its going that will happen today or tomorrow.

Yes, I'm familiar with this and Ether. I have my account through Gemini.
Ethereum is on the move as well, up 50% over last month.

And don't yall sleep on Litecoin. It's moving as well, but it tends to be a slow mover.
If you're reading this and you're not into crypto GET IN NOW!!!

She should be, but it shouldn't be hard to find her login. She better start checking her old emails.

It's been teasing for the few hours, went over and then went back down but it's still on the positive side for the day.

Back in 2010 Bitcoin was less than $1.00 So if she bought at least 100, she is a millionaire! That's if it's still there and where she bought it from, didn't get hacked.

I am still unclear as to what Bitcoins are...help an old man out.

It's a way to exchange money using what they call the blockchain, it is encrypted currency and you can see it change hands in real time here http://blockchain.info

The big guys hate it because instead of taking 2 weeks and hefty wire fees to send money between countries you can do it in 20 minutes for pennies on the dollar, when amazon starts taking bitcoin, it is over

They have bitcoin ATM machines in other countries

I believe one day our medical records will be floating around on the blockchain because it is anonymous until you decrypt it, they were talking about how to implement it on something I was reading.

Beware of bad cypto currency because all of them won't grow, they even have a trumpcoin on the cryptocurrency exchange, wow

I owned Bitcoin, Ethereum and Lightcoin for several months. I never seen anything like this. It is extremely volatile, but the overall trend is up. It seems to me the other coins are following Bitcoin's lead. I am also looking at adding Ripple (RXP) since it is extremely affordable compared to the three above.

For those who are new, you don't have to pay the full $9000 (or wherever it is) for one coin. You can buy fractional coins so you buy what you can afford.

Overall, I look at it like this. I view cryptocurrency as a hedge like gold or silver. I don't know if there is going to be a huge crash or not. I only invest what I am willing lose and my odds of winning are better than going to the casino or playing the lottery.

Exactly, That's where I'm at right now. Just bought a fraction of it.

I saw that Ripple and was thinking about it. I intend to get some Ethereum & Litecoin next month. It will make me more than what I'm getting having some money sitting in a savings account.

I am to risk adverse for this, but if I was younger I would give it a try. I like the strategy the Killer Bees is taking - "only invest what I am willing lose"

I'm glad you mentioned buy fractional coins. That's how I actually got into Bitcoin, I just "invested" what I could since it was well above what I could afford to lose for 1 whole coin. The other two I actually bought them whole.

Well that 10K didn't last long....It's over 11K now

Well coinbase was having major problems this morning with a lot of people trying to get on. I heard someone cashed in 11 million and that hurt it some. It's dropped down below 10K now and is steadily falling closer to 9K.

Yep, I figured someone must have cashed out a large sum of money. It will go back up again.

It's moving up more.

I just got into it a few weeks ago and just got some litecoins yesterday.

I've seen a increase in my small investment so far.

Saw this posted in another group I'm in...... LOL

So as of this time yesterday, bitocoin has gone up over 27%. It was at over 12K and now it is above 16K. While getting some info to wrie this post I watched it increase $500.
Bitcoin will hit 20K and you can see your little $100 investment increase at least 20%. I'm wishing I had invested more in September when it was at $4,600. That is September of this year!

It went up to 18.4K earlier today and is down to 15.4K right now. I'm still up 60% over what I've invested just a few weeks ago. Wallstreet gets in next week and the money will be flowing. It was said to hit 20K by Christmas easy. It's also being reported that it will go from 40-100K in 2018.
