BIGGEST PLAYER BUST IN NFL HISTORY...

Out of all these flop's that's been mentioned ...................

gotta go with RYAN LEAF.

#2 pick and didn't even finish his FIRST SEASON. And it wasn't because of injury.

PI - TI - FUL!! :lmao: :lmao:

He falls under the category of a DUMMY! Jacked-up attitude for NO REASON!Safe to say, the Colts made the right pick at #1.

Journalist, anybody but linemen from LSU bust????? Dude I can understand hate, but whoa.

Alonzo Highsmith, Mike Rozier, Charles White, JJ Stokes, RJ Soward, Heath Shuler, Alex Molden, all the reciever's drafted before Randy Moss, Keith McCants, Kevin Williams (WR), Peter Warrick (I know he's in Cincy, but if you can ball, you can ball), Andre Wadsworth, Trev Alberts (took the money, and ran), Lars Tate, Tim Worley, Mario Bates, Bryant Westbrook.

Forgot about a lot of them.

NICE

Jag D, don't remind me of Russell Erxleben. I remember the year the Saints fans first bought out the bags of the 1980 1-15 season, and granted their were a number of wins that slipped through the Saints fingers, like their game against Frisco in SF, and Oakland on Monday Night Football, but the one that always sticks out, is the game in Buffalo.

The Saints had a chance to win the game, and Dick Nolan called a fake punt, and it was the perfect call. The sideline was wide open, and Erxleben could've run for days, but he caught the ball, and ran out of bounds not even trying to get the first down.

When asked why he didn't run the ball after the game, that clown said "they don't pay me for that, I'm a punter."

A few other names that come to mind:

Herschal Walker
Rahib "Rocket" Ismail
Ricky Dudley
Andy Katzenmoyer
Joey Galloway
Lindsay Scott
Tommy Hodson
Steve Emtman (even before the injury he was sorry)

NICE

Actually Bean...that was a nice Monday night. Plus Brians shoulder got blown out....(too much steriods)

GR...correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the same Monday nighter when Bo broke that 92-yard run and damn near ran to Tacoma...Damn shame what Bo did to The Boz...Boz had the hole played perfectly..but Bo Jackson's Bo Jackson..and commenced to make Boz read his Nikes...

BTW: Thank y'all J-State folk for clearing up the Rashard Anderson thing.. no smack intended..but I thought it was how he played the slant route that kept him out the league...

DNice, my statement about any LSU player that didn't play O- or D-line being a bust in the league wasn't made out of hate (even though I'm not too fond of the South Baton Rouge kitties)..but out of some fact...
..we all know Billy Cannon for two reasons, winning the Heisman Trophy in 1959 and 30 years later gettin in trouble with the law...
...Y.A. Tittle, all i know him for is that picture when he's kneelin on the filed with a bloodied head...Bert Jones..WTF he did after LSU?
...C'mon...outside of Kevin Mawae, Booger McFarland, Allen Faneca..who else did something in the league from LSU...

other busts..what about Steve Eatman (sp)...from Washington..and the colts picked him like 1st or 2nd overall...
...speaking of Westbrooks..what about that Westbrook that put them hands on Stephen Davis in Redskins camp that time...
..Bobby Humphrey from Bama...didn't help Elway out one bit...

J, Bert Jones wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but like Archie Manning, he did what he could on some suspect teams. Not what I'd call a bust. Now Tommy Hodson, that's a bust from any direction. Oh, I have to throw in Harvey Williams with ol Tommy.

Also, I wouldn't call Eric Martin, Eric Hill, Wendall Davis (dayum Veteran's Stadium), Carlos Carson (too bad about the knees), Dalton Hilliard, or even Kevin Faulk for that matter bust. Granted LSU's calling card to the NFL has been in the trenches, but I wouldn't call the rest bust.

The book is still out on LaBrandon Toefield, Dominack Davis, Josh Reed, and Rohan Davey, though Davis, and Toe are off to good starts, and Reed needs another year before he can be fairly judged.

NICE

Oh, I have to throw in Harvey Williams with ol Tommy.

Harvey Williams. That guy was fast as grease lightening. That guy was nice. Then he just disappeared after he graduated. Where did he end up going?

Come on NIce

Give Faulk a break bruh. You know the Patriots dont know how to run the ball. GET READY thought that Faulk was one of the greatest of all time while he was at LSU. Too bad that backfield was so crowded with that rapist dude and that #7.

Big Bust
Peyton Manning
(GET READY is still ahead of his time)

Oh Great Ready, I'm not calling Faulk a bust by any means. I think he's been a very servicable player, and a key contributor to New England with the role they're using him in. I just put a maybe by his name, because I don't know what criteria Journalist is basing his LSU bust status on, and that Kevin is not lighting it up like he did in school, though he's still very productive.

Beans, Harvey had like 8-10 year career in the NFL. He was drafted by Kansas City (I think), and finished with the Raiders. A longer than average career, but not what I expected from him nonetheless.

NICE

^^^^^^^^^^^
He was STU - PED!

He's still here watchin his son now. He ain't hurtin' though ........except for his knee.

Gary Beban(UCLA).......This guy won the Heisman in '67 when OJ should have won it and would have been the first back-to-back winner. The Redskins drafted this guy #1 and he could not even keep the stats on the sideline. They even tried him in the front office to no avail.

Pat Sullivan(Auburn).....same as above

Kijana Carter

Tony Manderich(they started testing for steroids and my man could'nt bench press a Big Mac)

Brian Bosworth

Cryin' Ryan Leaf (a big Pu$$y moma's boy)

Lawrence Phillips(got some white nooky and lost his ever loving mind)

Aundray Bruce

Art Scleister Qb (Ohio State)

Andre Ware(Houston)

Gino Terretta(Miami) another Pu$$y

Andy Katzenmoyer

Especially the ones in bold...

Then I saw Troy Davis, the back to back 2000 yard rusher for Iowa State, Curtis Enis( :smh: )
Rashann Salaam
Amhad Rashad (imho)
AND LAWRENCE PHILLIPS!!!

Man still think Desmond was not really a bust, just on the wrong team...

Troy Davis was like a 4th round pick. Much was not expected out of him.

Mississippi folks remember Marcus Dupree

Everybody remembers Marcus Dupre...........the speed......the size........the ability.....the quickness. He could have been a ba-zillionaire had he stayed in school and then played in the NFL.

I'm going to do alittle better than that GR. I'm going out on a limb here.

Eli Manning........................ :uhoh:

Peyton Manning a bust? You're kidding right?

But his little brother Eli is going to be a MAJOR disappointment.

All Big 10 RBs suck
Not one of them have ever been any good
If Eddie George is the best from your conference...you suck.

:smh:

The Cowboys currently have three healthy running backs available for training camp.

There is an established veteran who has just been released from his team after eight years and has publicly stated the Cowboys is one of the three teams on his wish list.

The Cowboys need a back and Eddie George wants to play for the Cowboys.

It almost sounds too easy.

George, who was released by the Tennessee Titans Wednesday for salary cap reasons, still thinks he has a few years left in the tank. And while that has yet to be determined, the Cowboys are in a position, both financially and from a roster need standpoint, to take a close look.

According to George's agent Lamont Smith, it appears the Cowboys will.
