If you go, I recommend the soul platter where you choose a combination of things (bbq ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, bbq chicken, sweet potatoes, collard greens, sweet corn muffins, etc.), they put it in a bucket and you go for what you know....,
As far as BBKing's, there is nothing special there to me other than the name...,
The atmosphere in Isaac Hayes is more upscale which makes one question the how good the food is, but believe a brother it is eemmm goood.
Some other places in Memphis that's truly for real would be Meleanie's off of Watkins, (she got that butterroll going on as well as some other stuff) and Ellen's off of South Parkway. Like I said those are just a few, but Memphis is loaded with good soul food places.
