You can say that if you want to. However, I experienced breakfast at Frank's on Telephone Rd. and those Hispanics that cooked that breakfast can cook my breakfast anytime. It was de-lish-us.

It shole is good.

I have passed by Frank's a million times over the years (it has been there a long time), but I have never had the nerves to go in there. I might have to check it out now.

Baby that food is so good!

what's their specialty? waffles, eggs? pancakes"

I'm on the far north side of town so to make that drive for breakfast..it better be worth it...

Pancakes are good (some of the best I've had). Hashbrowns and grits are good too. I can never finish.

M&M's Soul Food - (Inglewood, Calif.)

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles - (Los Angeles, Ca.)

M&M's - Everytime I go to LA, I make a stop. (Crenshaw & MLK)

Roscoe's its good, but they open one in Oakland on Broadway and it didn't last too long.

I've been in Houston a year and "someone" hasn't taken me to any Soul food places. :redhot:

SOG, I owe you a call back.

Here in Shreveport, Pete Harris is the place to go for your down home lunches. Brothers in the Entertainment District is also a good soul food place, copy cat of Pete Harris.

Co-sign, Homeboy!!

If anyone has been to Pete Harris or Brothers, you would know the customer service is funny as "L". It is one of those you have to see it to believe it, or experience it to believe it.

By the way, I have lost 20 pounds waiting on the shrimp dinner(from Pete Harris cafe) that you owe me, from a bet that we made 2 years ago. But, there is no customer service in Pete Harris cafe. Oh, unless you bring white people with you.

LOL. Now you see how long it has been since we have been in the "port" together kicking it.

Frenchy's chicken and lemmon cake on me the next time I am in H-Town.

Uhhhhh, the place is so small, there won;t be any group seating. However, the close quarters may make it seem like group seating. :lmao:
