Lies don't care WHO tells them.

1) GSU did the Tampax commercial after if was turned down by at least 1 SWAC school who shall remain nameless.

2) PV was not ON "Lose My Breath". PV performed that, along with "Soldier" for the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show.

3) a)The Honda BOTB is not a competition and there are no places awarded, so how could they have 'won' twice?

b) Grambling has only BEEN to the Honda BOTB once, so how could they have 'won' twice?

It's better to be thought of.....'L' y'all know the saying.

Hmmmmm. Now that he's exposed, quick grab a tampax to stop the bleeding.:slap:

Nostril!!!!

Not worth going back and forth with the supporter of a once mediocre band, turned garbage:vomit: .

The truth of the matter is you could have one hundred polls and ask swac fans, or hbcu fans, or band fans, "Who are the best bands in the SWAC", and *rampax will rank 8th, 9th, 0r 10th.

Be thankful that yall will be forever associated with the Late, Great, Eddie Robinson, who is the only reason people know that a small hick school in the northern woods of Louisiana even exists! Don't get me wrong, a lot of caucasian folks don't know anything about HBCUs except Coach Rob, so we all benefit.... But this is about bands. So you should thank your football teams of the past, that they have made an indeliable mark on American culture and have allowed your band to reap some of the benefits of their celebrity, but thats where the greatness stops. Because if you ask anyone (and what we're talking about here is public opinion) that enjoys Black College Bands they will tell you that *rampax is an average band in a good year, but most years they SUCK!!!

The Human Jukebox is famous because of its works, not A.W Mumford or Pete Rich. Some people only know of SU because of the band. The people who book *rampax only do so because Southern is not available, or they are looking for some black faces to throw in there so they say " Whats that black school that Eddie Robinson coached at? Call them."

The moral of the story is, The World Shamed sucks, always has..... probably always will.

Ah yes, SU is indeed famous for something in the band world. Not the first Super Bowl. See in 98 GSU did the Super Bowl on national TV. Yall on the other hand were in a televised halftime brawl with PV. UM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem like the kind of person that cuts across 4 lanes of traffic on the freeway so you don't miss the exit.

That was the biggest diversion I have seen in QUITE A WHILE!!!! It sounds like Grumpling is fighting the horns dayum near every time they play (and losing the battle, might I add). Answer the questions above dude...

I always liked that song. Wish I could hear that one from the front. I HATE drums....LOL.....PLus, listening to a band from the side highlights deficiencies that wouldn't otherwise be heard from the front....ESPECIALLY on tape.

u must not have never been to Elmore lol... we dont have no arena.. we got a GYM, thats the only angle u can really tape the band unless you are downstairs.... the walkway is so thin thats its a big persons nightmare to walk in front of the band.

Naw Dahill, I ain't been to Elmore, and I ain't trippin....I am sure it sounded dayum good. I was making a general observation, not being specific to this clip or AAMU's band.

Eddie Robinson opened a great deal of opportunities not only for Grambling but, many other black colleges as well. Yes,..we all benefit from his life's services.

I can not sit here and let anyone discredit the body of work of my leader Mr. Hutchinson. Yes,..Coach Robinson presented the band as a part of the package but, it was up to Mr. Hutchinson to present a musically marketable package. Coach Rob and Mr. Hutchinson had the same goal, the same philosophy and the same values. They were connected. Coach Rob knew football. Mr. Hutchinson knew band. Long after I'm dead and gone, his name will always be referred to in relations to marching bands. Mr. Conrad Hutchinson knew just as many people as Coach Rob did. It was through him that we started playing games in Yankee Stadium in the first place.

~here is the beginning and the ending of speaking for Legend.~

Even if that was true I'd rather have that than an entire Music program that sucks arse.

In case you didn't understand that, your marching band, pep band, stage band, symphonic band, jazz band, (pause commercial break),

To stop the bleeding of a band that was at least average at one time........gsu needs
tampax.jpg
TAMPAX!!!!!

Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

and all of your ensembles are garbage.......so what's your excuse?

:lmao:

I don't dispute that. Very well put.

You should give GSU in MS some pointers on expressing opinion. :)

No, he shouldn't. See, I know how yall SU cats roll. Yall wait on some post on GSU, good or bad, and then critcize GSU. Plain and simple yall are not as great as you make yourself seem. I don't say GSU is the best in the SWAC, but yall ain't either. Real talk, it would be JSU. Yall boastful, but that is okay. I see how yall do on this page alone. Afterall, SU band members know a little something about BEATING UP ON ONE MAN.:smash: Continue to boast and knock GSU. That is what you do. I don't appreciate you knockin GSU. Can't give them credit for nothin. I don't knock Dr. Issac Greggs for the marvelous band he created, but when he got older, yall began to become something he didn't intend. VIOLENT!!!! Still, SU is good. GOOD!!! But don't knock GSU cause they have done more for the SWAC than anybody. That is real. By the way, the tampax crap is old. You should be happy for the SWAC representation. Give them their due for that.

Dude thats the attitude you took because of one less than spectacular clip of SU's pep band, when half of the band was out of town at another engagement.
And no, I won't let the grampax thing go, because it goes to show the whorish attitude, that yall will take anything for a price, i.e. Rose Bowl out of uniform, Sports Illustrated models with the drum major's stick leading your band (not acceptable at SU), TAMPAX, being a loser in Drumline. GSU's band has done nothing for the SWAC (Eddie Robinson has done plenty). Yall are the anti-swac band with core style marching, white shoes, kettle drums, and tympanis and sh!t. Its nothing about your band that says SWAC, as a matter of fact if someone likes grampax, then they probably don't like the rest of the SWAC. I give it to you, yall are original.... but thats probably because people only imitate what they like.
As far as beatin people up, yeah that happened 10 years ago, and i would hope that it would go down just like that today if another organization attempted to bully and direspect The Jukebox. If an individual wants to put themselves in that position then they should get there issue. Maybe you can push around grampax drum majors and call them *****es and nothing happens.... hey that yall! Turn the other cheek and get hit in that muthafugger too.
