Man, MEAC drills are boring as hell... they stand in place more than they march and when the do march, the just form a line.

Aside from FAMU (when they decide to do an animation drill), MEAC drilling is a bore.

You just finding out about Ohio State, and you smack about "band"? Figures though....

Man, half the JSt. bums on this board seem to know everything about everything, but don't know isht in the end. That's why we hold folks like T-Made and most of the JSt. women in high regard. They actually know what they're talk'n about 99% of the time.

It's sad, cause they really try to act like they know what the fug they be talking about...
What's funny is, if Taylor post his real thoughts often, they would be some pissed souls on here....lol

you guys are sad :smh:

I'm not in the mood to entertain foolishness right now
so carry on with your Jackson State smack.... Get ya rocks off:tup:

That deserved a standing ovation......

That was great!

Lots of practice for that show. AMAZING!!!

The two things that I thought were really impressive were
  1. How they used the "waves" to reposition everyone; and
  2. The transitions to the forms.

The forms themselves were not all that tough, but the transitions were FANTASTIC!!!

It's simple corp style set-to-set fundamentals. You hit the nail on the head. It's just a matter of looootttts of practice time of the set-to-set movements. Brings back high school memories... RED CHIP... MARK TIME MARK UP.... BLUE CHIP ... MARK TIME MARK UP. lol

It's a nice show though.

It's much more fine detail to it than just that NT.. A lot of bands practice loooooooottts of hours but will never look like that.. lol

lol. Have you ever marched corp style?

Don't have to, seen many. And trust me MANY don't look half as good as Ohio State. Unlike some of yall, ya more than likely would have lied and said you did..

Now that you ask, did your Corp Style band look that good?

so basically NO. lol.

My corp style band was a HIGH SCHOOL. HELL NO we didn't look as good as Ohio State.... da hell. It is fact that corp style fundamentals are all about spacing memorization from set-to-set. PERIOD. That it accomplished through hours of practice i.e. the Blue Devils/ Cavaliers. You so confidently chimed in that it takes "much more fine details" lol. as if you knew what these details were... (while I DO). Now, back to the topic... The OSU show up there is really good, but it is a looooong way from the "best drill" i've ever seen.
