Best and Worst HBCU Uniforms

I know. I was thinking about the time when I was a young Jag on the Yard, and a young lady told me this fact. I did not believe her until I looked it up.

GSU - Black and Gold
JSU - Navy Blue and White

Red a official color of Grambling
Black = the Color of Our Skin
Gold= the richness of Our education
Red= the same blood that flowed in my African Ancestors flows in me

Dude...blue and orange is hideous. Thats why no orange and blue team has nice unis. Look at Callaway Madison Central Florida Auburn Boise State even Denver. You just cant make that mess look good.

Just saw Southern's white helmets with white jerseys and blue pants...nice combo

Still not a fan of white helmets, but that particular combo is solid

I hate the white helmets of Southern. The Blue was really good.

How much does it cost to outfit a team with a new uniform. It seems like a waste of money to have all these different uniforms.

I like the yellow and blue helmets in that order, the white is too plain and blah. Any combo with the white and powder blue spells "come kick our asses"

One new set of home (or away) uniforms for a college team of 80 will cost a good $10K on the low side.

The lighter blue fades into the dark blue. All the mixtures looks better than most schools that were picked.

Nope, not at all. The blue looks good period. I wouldn't care what school wears that color, they still would have gotten my vote.
