the game was pathetic, and folks that think this wouldn't happen at Bama or any other big time school in the South are kidding themselves. How could we POSSIBLY know if this Alabama defense was "THE GREATEST EVER" when LSU only threw 3 passes downfield. It's pretty easy to play defense when a team is running a pre-historic, pedestrian offense.

P.S. all of those U.S. Army All-American skill position players should have been looking at that game last night and thought, "do I really as a receiver want to go to either of these caveman offense schools???"

I knew you would see my point. I hunt and fish with Bubba and Rickie all the time. Just like i got friends who are Pookie and Ray Ray. They don't phase me. It is Tom and Biff who went to SEC schools who hurt us the most.
Yeah Bubba and nem just are ignorant. The rednecks who have money or power are ones that you definitely have to be wary of. Most I have found to be okay once you let them know you are about the business and aint trying to be in their world so to speak. Meaning not trying to get them to accept you. Secretly them mofos still envy some of the things about us though. Now even the Southern white boys want to be cool. LOL. The old heads are a lost cause. So can't hide the fact they hate to see a black man in any kind of good position.

What game were you watching? LSU's offense was what it was (or wasn't) because of Bama's defense. As for Bama having a "caveman offense" last night, I disagree. They did what they needed to do to WIN. They had 384 yards of offense and scored on 6 different possessions.

+1. That was an impressive display of what defense is supposed to be.

LOL. I agree about neither being a dynamic offense even before playing each other. If I was a Qb, I sure wouldn't go play for either coach. Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler would be proud of their Big Ten brothers last night on the coaching sideline. Great defense and conservative offense. LSU OC at least should have been more prepared.

Although I think Alabama may throw a little more next year after seeing McCarron play well last night. Not much more. But he looks like he may have some potential. Their OC had a great game plan.

Bama came into the game with the top ranked defense in the country. LSU came into the game with the #2 ranked defense in the country. For some reason, I guess some folks were expecting a 50-49 shootout.:retard:

I don't think folks were expecting a shootout. We would have liked to see less of the field goal kicker and the punter, though.

The Offensive MVP of the game didn't throw a single touchdown pass. Thank God the NFL playoffs are still going on so I can watch real football. College football is too extreme. Either too much offense or too much defense. Can we find a happy medium?

ok, I wanted to see a good, compelling game. I did.

LOL@MH. Now you know that game wasn't compelling. Great display of defense. But totally one sided in that game. LSU defense played great in the red zone but so-so other wise. Bama dominated that game. Nothing compelling unless you were a Bama fan. I love defense. But that play calling by LSU was the worse I have seen. Bama OC was smart. He changed up stuff from the last time. LSU's OC was not. End of story right there.

yes it was. Even though Bama had them on lockdown, we all kept watching. EVen in the 4th quarter. Waiting for LSU to "rise up" (LOL) and do what they did after GA shut them down in the 1st half. Do what they did after falling behind Arkansas. Do what they did all year. We all kept watching. Don't act as if you didn't keep watching too.

Okie State would have beat the shat out of both of these teams. Blackmon would have been unstoppable.

I was telling somebody last night on Facebook that if Bama was moving the ball against LSU's defense all night, what makes anyone believe that Okie State with Blackmon and their great receivers couldn't? The Honey Badger little butt would have got dealt with trying to cover Blackmon.

That game was all about the LSU OC or Les Miles....Whoever it was who chose to obviously never try and at least make adjustments....

Never attempt to stretch the defense until mid forth quarter...

The Option....Fool you beat them with that last time....They been seeing and preparing for that for 40+ days....adjust...do something different....

Running side to side plays against a fast defense....

Tryna go thru 3 and 4 progressions in the pass game when there are 8 in the box and coming....

waiting to be sacked....

Never even challenging the Bama D....(staying predictable makes even the best defense even better)

One on One....Cover 1...all night...got play-makers and don't even attempt to challenge that coverage....

etc.....

WOW!
