Yea You MAD. :lol: . You obviously looked at it. I didnt look at Narry JSU signee stats. I could gaf who yall signed, it dont matter. SU kicking azz and taking names.

I give Brent 2-3 years and he will be in the thick of it all. He will beat some people next season and yall will be MUCH better than last year. But as far as taking over. I am willing to go out on a limb and say not so fast TP. SU and TxSU are not going to lay down and be beat down just like that. I also got a feeling Alcorn will start making some noise. Riley has gotten his feet wet now and he should start seeing some improvement.

The military also taught me negotiation skills when you go to the big table before you declare war. The Sports Board is for that. War is on the SMACK Board. I am both tactical and strategic. Remember that's why a lot of the best of the best become Nuclear Submarine Officers in the Navy.:nod:

High School stats, All-State Honors and post-season accolades don't say much about a player, and how their game translates to the next level. Can't judge a recruiting class off of that.

You generally have The Top 125 kids in a class who are automatic, and will do well where ever they go....The SWAC doesn't get those. It does appear that we all have a group of guys that look good. Let's get them eligible and coach them up and see which class dominates for the next 3 to 5 years. :tup:

JSU had talent last season. They just didnt play together. They will be in the thick of things.

I am looking at the 12 rebounds and 5 blocks per game. I ain't worried about a guy in the paint averaging a bunch of assists. LOL. I need him to man up and bow up inside. PGs and Wing players I expect more assists from.

And the fact that he came from an area that P88 says we need to recruit from. So we got Hyder from Dallas already there, Miller is from Texas, and we got this kid coming and the other JUCO kid from Waco coming in. Not to mention the transfer from a Big 12 school who is from Texas. I guess that puts TBF theory of SU can't recruit Texas anymore. We just took P88s advice and left Houston alone. LOL

I have no interest in anything other than JSU. I have not made one SU thread or looked up one SU player. I'm just here to smack your scrub azz, 1 year wonder school. SU can cut sports to the point of closing their doors. I would not lose a minute of sleep.

Go sit down TP. TBF asked for it and he got the real stats.

How about this stat for you. Southern University Basketball = Defending SWAC Tourney Champs. We got We have 5 players of our 8 man rotation back which includes Malcolm Miller and Javon Mitchell who both were key players. Miller was SWAC player of the Week multiple times and he came off the bench to be our second leading scorer barely behind Beltran's number. So we ain't depending on Freshmen to lead us next year. Only to add to the already good team we will return next season. That don't even include the transfers on campus right now who will play next season. It is going to be hard to get playing time for some of these kids just because we are stacked with players who are COLLEGE experienced.

Now let me get off my high road for a moment.
Has Banks lost to JSU in 2 years yet?

Don't think so frat. Really don't think so at all. SU going to surprise some of yall this Fall.

I actually feel bad for your coach. Because he is clearly under the gun this Fall. He has to get off to a good start. Especially after all the FAMU begging for their job. JSU folks ain't forgotten that. I know Get Ready hasn't. LOL. He better win or it will be a soap opera around that camp every week.
