We got our own instigators that post. LOL. I know you and Jrock like to raze them guys too.
Now Jrock said the kid is washed up. He is entitled to his opinion. I am more worried about his mentality as a player. Sounds like he thought he could not compete for playing time at Alcorn and figures he will have a better chance at JSU based on his comments. That is a red flag for me. Especially a kid coming into our conference from a bigger school. Makes you think he is lazy. I rather him come in cocky than scared. What he don't know is JSU got some players coming in and it will not be easy for him to get playing time just by showing up at 6'11.
That's how I took Jrock's comments meaning he didn't think the kid was worth getting excited over. Just like I ain't excited over every kid we get either. We are all guilty of getting our buttons pushed and responding. Me included. But some folks you already know you have to ignore. Like TP. LOL. Sometimes TBF as well. Beans all the time. LOL.

He's a big man frat. Not a PG. LOL. That dude ain't a player I am worried about at SU. He will be there for defense. But I see folks quickly pick him out of the 3 All State kids we signed or the kid from NY/NJ. LOL. You can't recruit everybody who is a scorer. We got our Center returning in Javon Mitchell and got others who are already on Campus who sat out this past season. These bigs coming in this class going to have to battle for time and definitely will be getting some backup time. The West kid sounded like a wuss being scared to battle people for playing time at Alcorn. IJS. So I expect your coach to let him know soon when he gets there, this ain't no picnic either. None of us are getting Big Men that score 20 a game consistently or they probably would not be at our schools. Not saying cats can't develop. But usually that will be a kid who comes in as a true Freshman and gets better and not a transfer.
Anyway, yall ain't going to get me off my high road. I am sure Alcorn's coach will have something special waiting on West when yall meet up. That's who is mad about all this. Ain't no need for us Jags to be worrying or getting mad about what he is doing.

we've had all-state guards in Texas play in the SWAC the past 4 years and who signed Big 12...you probably don't even remember some of their name for their basketball antics...more for what they did off the court.
