Bama State head basketball coach

At this level i would take my chance with guards… big men at this level simply aren’t going to be “good”… P5s taking a chance on even the prospects since big men are hard to find .
You see how that turned out when played at Elmore, right? No inside post presence. Mo would rely too much on the 1-3-1 defense also

Trust me as someone from a school that has relied too much on guard play for 8 years and a lack of a 6'9> banger that can grab 8-10 boards a game consistently and score 10-12 per game, I know the feeling. Even when Hunter tried to recruit them, they were either offensively challenged or freshmen. And when we finally got an undersized 1-4 player, they (compliance) dropped the ball on him and now he is in the portal

Thing is it aint really no bangers at this level no more. We had one but even he was undersized at 6’7 and was dominating at his position. That right there let me know they dont make them like they use to.

If that kid from Cincinnati had a heart he would've been a bad man at aamu lol

I know you have your new head coach but this is what Mike Davis is making - SMH - 0 NCAA appearances since leaving TSU. 4 years of losing with his son shooting 30 shots game. He is the top scorer in Detroit Mercy history now.

I don't think it should be that hard to put together 400k compensation for a coach. 200k for the school, 200k from private donors/foundation. you structure it right you can get your alumni at all financial stages of life involved.

Mike's son transferring is a game changer. Mike Davis Sr. and Mike Davis Jr. might be on the move. Heard AAMU rumors last year. Again, no facts, just rumor.

shoot your shot. to a large degree money should not dictate who can be your head coach. a creative AD should be able to create a workable package.

Not happening…. There is a final list of 6…. he is not on there. They are in town this weekend.
