No school! Alabama calls off classes for BCS game
The Associated Press

Alabama students and faculty won't have to worry about missing class to attend the national title football game.

The university canceled classes from Jan. 6-8.

The school said Tuesday that students will have to make up for the lost class time. They have two days of classes upon returning from the Christmas break before getting another respite.

Alabama cited the number of students who have to be in Pasadena and those students and staff who want to attend the game.

Classes start back on Monday, January 4th at Alabama. They will now go for two days (4th and 5th), then break for the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

I don't know when they break for Christmas.

MH, I know Bama is major player and has great football history and probably have the most rabid fans of all of BCS. I just think UT folks just have the numbers is all. I also think since they have ties to more corporations being in Texas that they will have more crooked means of getting tickets than most of the Bama folks. They aint saying Bama has no fans or money. I am sure the state of Alabama will be all over Cali. Just make sure them neck mofos don't get themselves arrested out there.:scared:
