Atlanta Football Classic 2015

If you only knew. We get them from everywhere. Don't talk about nothing you know about. People from Mays, SWD, Redan, etc are in Gramblings band and their are a good number of people from ATL at Gram. Hell i got many frat that marched in band with me, before and after from ATL. We aren't regional.

bruh once again I will GUARANTEE you that AAMU has 4 times more people in the band from ATL than Grambling does.

Nobody is coming to your home stadium. BCU is not an attractive opponent for Grambling. In ATL, this works. Someone mentioned earlier that the Grambling band has no appeal in Atlanta. THAT is not true. The Grambling band has appeal NATION-WIDE. People will come see them. They will just be disappointed when they do. I have said for a while tho that Alabama State should be in that game.

NOT TRUE WHEN THEY WENT TO HONDA IN 03 THEY HAD ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS THERE. AND WHEN THEY WENT TO ATL FOR THE HBCU BOWL IN 2010 THEY DID WELL. AND DALLAS WAS PLEASED WITH THE BAND SHOW THIS WEEKEND AS WELL AS THEIR SHOW VS JSU.

With ASU being off this wknd, I went to the Atl Classic for the first time in many years.

This classic has fallen off big time. :smh:

Loud music after EVERY play. Mostly rap. :smh: Irritating beyond belief. I guess the stadium announcer thought he was doing play by play on tv, cause he kept talking while the ball was in play. :retard:

I ended up leaving middle of the 3rd quarter. With a headache. :retard:

IF BCU and GSU can pull off 35,608 in OHIO im sure in ATL the number can go up more And gsu traveled very well to that ohio game! With two new schools also in the city here we've been talking about new schools. I think they need better events for the game too not just the bands.

The key is for GSU to finish strong this season and BCU to either win the MEAC and/or do well in the FCS playoffs. If both return with a lot of promise and get off to a good start, it could be a huge draw. A lot of if's but I try to think "best case scenario"... The Return of the Positive Mike Bigg!

Went in 2012 for SU-FAMU when I first moved here .... Nice crowd, but people said the Classic was dying. SCSU and NCAT didn't do much the last couple of years to revive anything.

I've developed a few friends here and they all say Atlanta has changed and not all for the better. But they are in different points of their lives now too.

Say it again, so don't realize that. If both teams are winning it will be well attended.

I think 35K would be a coup in this match up. I remember going to Jacksonville a few years back to see S.U. vs. BCC. BCC does't travel well. I think Grambling will pull their weight moreso than BCC.

Ohio is in the midwest with no large HBCU games there, most definitely not a direct comparison to how a game is going to draw in ATL. There's a million and one things to do here on a Saturday, if you're going to compete with that it's going to be two teams that everybody wants to see. You see how slim the Ole Miss/Boise game was here compared to how the other Chick Fil A kickoff games were right? And that's an SEC team. BCU doesn't even draw all that well in Orlando.

Apparently Coach Fobbs wants to play it there...probably for recruiting purposes. We shall see...looks to be something that has possibilities.
