Well, there is nothing wrong with checking your ticket stub. There was a situation in the past (I believe a Spike Lee Movie) where movie goers were given tickets for other movies and not the one they requested. As you know this drive up the box office sale and gives absolutely no sales for the movie you want to see. No harm in checking!

True. I like this movie b/c it's the best example of a non-traditional Hollywood plot. All movies have a plot but most follow that traditional Hollywood paradigm(except Pulp Fiction). I think some of the people who do not like this movie do not understand what the director was trying to do.What he did... he pulled it off by letting us experinece some of the humor of the main characters,experiencing their goals and what they do everyday in Atlanta while working up to the main conflict. When it first came on,I thought it was doomed but the director kept interesting showing some interesting things about each character that related to an Atlanta experience from high school student perspective.

Honestly, I didn't see anything special about it. The formula has been used before. I was just filmed in Atlanta. That was the only difference. Only thing that I saw different was that T.I. was pushin' an El Camino instead of a Cutlass or Malibu.

It was on again this past weekend on HBO. If a movie has good dramatic story HBO will show it. Evidently someone at HBO feel that ATL has a good story

If it was made by HBO, yes. They also showed Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure last week. I would watch that for the 100th time before ATL. :lol:

I have learned that people have differernt perspectives, taste, as well as perceptions. Hence, I am not totally dismayed. I think it is all about knowing we are not all monolithic. Sometimes it can get frustrating when one can see something that another may not be able to. Sometimes you just have to move on because we all are not created equal in so many different ways (fair or unfair). But, I guess it would be boring if we were.........:tup:
