Whooooweee!!! You boys are fired up over that JUKE BOX! those boys be thumping and pumping! They are the epitome of what all SWAC bands should sound like. They are the band to perform against at the end of the week most bands consider "Hell Week" They ARE the Mighty Human Jukebox and don't any of you forget it.
NOW!
Since forever ago, those boys from SU have never been able to take any kind of criticism whatsoever, they go down to the death defending their band (Question. Why don't they think people from Bama State would do the same?) anybody who has "Sweat blood" for their band should defend the ever loving sh-- out of their band. Be proud of your band. It's the one you chose (over Southern) or (over Bama State). Y'all are some grown azzed people, y'all should know better than to think a true Southern/Hornet bandmember will break down and say "Oh well I guess you're right" PULEEZE!!! *****!
SU has never been a band to really bring it on the field (BUT WHEN THEY GET IN THOSE STANDS) LOOK OUT! (I know y'all jukebox boys smiling right now) hold that thought......the stands (listen close) the stands are NOT the deciding factor of what band did the best.BAMA State has never really been a band to bring it in the stands but if you turn your head, THEY ARE GONNA MURDER YOU ON THE FIELD!!! HORNETS DO STING!!!...I'M STILL CRAZY ABOUT THAT HORNET WING THING THEY DO WITH THEIR ARMS. I'm suprised y'all have let it all come down to who blew each other out AFTER the game?????? What tha??
Tapes of AFTER the game can only prove that SU kicked butt AFTER the game. Tapes of the halftime show can only prove that ASU got house AFTER the first half. WHO THE HECK BROUGHT IT FROM KICK-OFF TO CLOSE? WHO? THINK HARD. The answer to that question will produce your winner.
LASTLY...I'm a former-crab of 1988. If any of you had joined the Ocean of Soul when you entered college, I'm certain I would have crabbed you.

And maybe pledged you...(ALL HAIL!!!!!) spr.89 Kappa Delta.
SU....stop being so damned cocky all the time, the sun doesn't rise and set on your ass. BAMA State y'all know that Miracle Band hasn't been really tight since the early eighties. I wanted SOO bad to come at y'all back in '88 cause I knew what y'all were about. As for preparing for SU, yes it was the Ocean's Hell week when we prepared to play y'all but let me put a bug in your ear...OR SOME WATER!!!! The Ocean I was in, NEVER thought

OMG!!! WE PLAYING SU THIS WEEK....AGGGGGH!!!! Ever! Why? Because a good portion of our people were from St. Aug, McDonough 35, St. Mary's (You know who these schools are. don't play dumb) AND CARVER HIGH SCHOOL in Birmingham Alabama (one of Mr. Means' boyz) BAMA State folks know bout that . When it was time to play SU, we were pumped because we KNEW we had something for y'alls arse on AND off the field. Y'all knew it too. That's why y'all had people driving over from Baton Rouge to see what the Ocean was going to do.I believe his name was "Japp" from MU PSI-eeeee!!!!
Go back and get these tapes since y'all are so stuck on such a thing. FALL ' 83,85, 87 (OMG) AND 89. The key songs were 'Steppin Out" by Steel Pulse, "It Aint Over til It's Over by Lenny Kravitz and "Lies" by Johnathan Butler. SU was simply the last game before the "Crab Show" which HAD to happen before we played JSU. That's it. Sorry.... :nod2: Now y'all be nice and try to get along with the other SWAC kids. WE CAN ALL AGREE WITH THIS. IF IT AINT SWAC! YOU BETTER CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT'S BLACK..... :uzi:
