I WASN'T TO IMPRESSED WITH SU. AND BAMA ST. TOOK THE HALFTIME HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! AND I ALSO LIKE HOW BAMA ST. REALLY WOULD NOT LET SU PLAY. :bump: EVERYTIME THEY(SU) GOT READY TO PLAY BAMA ST. WAS ALREADY PLAYING. :bump: GO JOB BAMA ST. :)

I'm sure SU *coughJAREDcough* folks will come in here and defend their own. :D
 



I was at the game and I can agree that Bama St. took the halftime and that is it.......this is a bias opinion because I went to neither school. Southern was bringing it in the Gump....end of story

I was there and I will give SU their props. No doubt they brought a loud crisp sound and they jammed from beginning to end, but I've got to show my black and goldness and give it up to the Marching Hornets. THEM MOFO's GOT OFF!!! I especially liked their routine and formation when they played New Edition's Mr. Telephone Man. It might have been something that was done by another band but I've never seen it before. I was impressed. Nothing had me more floored when they broke out with the plus-sized women that came out and did their dance routine towards the end. Whoever was there to witness that, please tell me who they were. They came out in Stingette capes, five of them in all and they tossed those capes off and let the thickness fly. They wore Bama State jerseys and it was my assessment that they were mothers of the players for which jersey they were wearing. I went into laugh-shock when the lead dancer broke out in a cartwheel flip and did a split. UN-BE-LEI-VA-BLE!!! I know she had to soak up in a hot bath and rubbing ointment for those joints.
 
I agree wit u Blackcope, S.U. did not impress me at all either, yea they were bringing some heat over there, but they only have b-tones, I have never heard there trumpets sound like that. T-bones wernt that good and I aint gone discuss your tuba section. S.U. I have seen a lot better.
 
What is going on with S.U.? Out of all the bands, they are the only ones that actually can give JSU some challenge. And have anyone heard them play Toxic, if so how does it sound? I know that joint must be blowing.
 
Man if u believe all of this crap that these cats from ASU is posting then something is wrong. Go to the5thquarter.com for the REAL analysis.
 
I must say that southern was not impressive AT ALL!!! what's going on in jaguar land. I expected more from you all. Your sound was full and crisp but where was your volume though? and that halftime show, im not gonna elaborate on that. i had a better time facing texas southern who was far more entertaining, whom by the way should get more props and respect cuz they aight with me. hope jsu is not a letdown

B.S. lol!!!! It's funny Bama is the only one saying that and some of them don't agree with what you're saying. Like I said before go to the other websites for the truth. Bama St was horrible. Horrible sound, no volume, and a Kountrified show. The gimmick got house not your band and the 5th OMG!!! Ya'll shouldn't have even stayed.

I was at the game and that don't lie. Bama St did nothing but play horrible renditions of SU, Morris Brown, AAMU, NCA&T, and JSU's greatest hits. U say that aint what you're use to hearing but others say differently so that's YOUR opinion.
