so tx so should pull the plug on Mike Davis as well right? you expected them to beat the liberty team that beat wake forest on the road? south dakota state? they beat iowa and ole miss. the only teams on their schedule they legit should have potentially beat are savannah st, tennessee st, and maybe chattanooga. the only teams with a losing record on their schedule are savannah 3-11 and tn state 5-6. they have played a tough schedule that had no cupcake games on it (for which I am thankful). I want them to win too and there is nothing more frustrating than listening to them drop games like they did today. they are recruiting better which is why guys like leflore and rogers are basically buried on the bench but the guys are young and new to one another. give them time. like making coffee in a press. add grounds, add hot water, stir, cover, then....wait.
 



I don't care about Texas Southern.. I only care about Bama State our basketball program has hit rock bottom.. It's time to stop making excuses..

except you didn't respond to anything else in my post. I also assume you are a season ticket holder, that you went to both home games last week or if you're not in central alabama that you make your support for the program known in some other way that is tangible.
 
My prayer is Dr. Ross and the AD evaluate this program at the end of the season. Change is needed..

Hard to say it's hit rock bottom. There are 9 new players on this team. SWAC play will show a lot
 
16 and 111 is a wonderful conference record staring at a record of 18 and 112 by the end of the week. How much are the power teams paying for us to lose by 20 to 40 points? Are they all paying? I am in complete agreement with how Davis is recruiting because he may come up with a mix of rejects, overlooks, and late developers one year that can compete in the top 40 teams. Hell recruit the entire #1Northwest Florida State ( http://nwfraiders.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/schedule ) team and see how it works. Murray State has built it's program by getting these guys the last couple of years.
 
0-13.. When are we going to realize our basketball has become a stale product...If you stay a place to long this is what happens..

LewJack will definitely be back next season. He had to bring in a lot of new players this season and it took time for them to gel. Next season, we return all of our starters and should be able to add key players to this team.

His coaching is not the problem. It's been bringing in the talent that has been the issues. He did good bringing in Gee last season and Ross this season. We need to bring in another center and a couple of wing players next season. We're not that far off.

I also like the play of Branden Johnson at C/PF. He's blocking shots, rebounding, and hustling around the basket. I believe Coach Jackson is building in the right direction. Let's see if he adds more pieces next year and the team improves. If not, see you later.

johnson was looking like a bust...redshirted first year and got 0 pt last season. he has been a revelation and you can only expect him to get better. ross will improve a lot next season as well. no one has stepped up at that other wing. jones, rogers, simeon, ewushu all have just been another guy this season.

Simeon was supposed to step up but he just comes in and jacks up shots like crazy. Ewuosho has played the best at SF. He's the best defender on the team but doesn't have all of the offense. Johnson needs to work on free throws in the offseason. I wish Houston would have played this season.

Brandon Johnson had a serious knee injury coming out of high school. It’s taken some time for him to recover.

johnson fixes those free throws and he'll be really solid. likely 2nd team all swac this season. is houston still injured?
