ASU Basketball,time to let go

I keep telling you it is his coaching style. He ain't winning next year eithet.

Think is Jackson is a better COACH than Davis.... Davis has to out talent you to win. Davis CANT COACH... ive been saying it since my UAB days. His relationship with John Lucas is getting him troubled transfers.... now its working... but it is also causing some headaches like what went on this season.

Okay

So, why should I come and play for you when your own child won't play for you?
You acting like Freda didn't win back to back championships within the last 3 seasons. Bianca wanted to get out and be her own person.

I’m SURE her mom TOLD her to go play for the defending national champions. If my son a 5 star and im coaching at AAMU... I’m telling him to GO TO DUKE!
I believe you would. And that is the very reason our HBCUs will forever be doormats in the world of athletics and we will continue to have pissing contests about our pitiful conference.

Not doormats per se, more so the Negro Leagues. Bianca saying no to Dawn Staley and yes to ASU would be the equivalent to Jackie saying no to Branch Rickey and staying with the K.C. Monarchs. Top talent will always go to the biggest, brightest stage...just the ways it is.

I could see them both stepping down and moving closer to their daughter.... being a college basketball coach is TOUGH... They probably have had to miss more than half of their daughters basketball games.

Perhaps if that would have happened, we would have some owners of Major League Baseball teams. We need a mindset shift. I really think that if several of our Coaches could convince a group similar to the Fab Five to come one of our schools it could change everything.

Just say anything Dahill. The only player that came to TSU and knowing John Lucas was a plus is Aaric Murray.

None of the current roster of players nor past roster of players outside of Murray had anything to do with John Lucas.

Huh? You do realize that S.Carolina will be coming to Montgomery soon to play ASU, right? Freda and LewJack ain't making that move. Freda and LewJack were at a lot of her high school games also.

You see I did not address that stupidity

I didn't want to waste time either, but...
It just befuddles me. All the talk about Black folk need this and Black folk should do this and why we can't do this and why we can't do that. It reminds me of that church saying...Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.

The only reason these PWIs are where they are is because our best and brightest believe our institutions are not good enough.

So, this is the reward for giving them your daughter? They come to your place and kick you to sleep. WOW! We are indeed a sick people.

And this is why we (as a people) are in the shape we are in today. We would rather build someone else's house than build our own and then beg and complain about getting crumbs or being left out altogether.

ETT, we are below the sunken place and honestly I don't see us getting out. We are too easily seduced by shiny shiny beads.

Oh okay, so now you want to turn into a race issue? Going by your logic if a child whose parents that went to a HBCU) decide not to go to a HBCU also, he/she are considered to be a sell out. Smh

when the strong PWC parents have kids who go elsewhere cause they cant get into the big PWC, they are devastated

Bama State played South Carolina this season and lost 31-99 in the season opener.

Bianca played 28 minutes and got 8 points.

What does this have to do with the discussion? We are talking about kids that are choosing schools that they are accepted to not kids that are choosing schools based on them not being able to get in a certain school.
