The SWAC screwed it up basketball wise this year. Nothing against TxSU. But if they were ineligible for SWAC Tourney. They should have been ineligible to win the regular season title. Just like the Big Ten did to Ohio State in football and other conferences that make you ineligible for even the regular season title in football or basketball. They should have had the next best team win the regular season so we could keep our NIT auto invite in case the regular season champ got bounced in the SWAC tourney. To me if you ineligible you can't win the division nor the regular season titles period. But that is just me.

I agree. A modification to that rules needs to be made.

It's mighty interesting that certain folks wouldn't let it go back then, but SUDDENLY are on bended knees requesting that we do something they weren't willing to do. Karma is really a bich sometimes.

The men games will start Thursday. I say the top 2 seeds play on Friday.

Dude, do you REALLY believe that. All they have to do is call for a motion to have the by-law changed. Just like they need to re-visit it for the by-law change for the reg season bball champs, they could find a reason to re-visit it for football especially since the NCAA is not banning teams from the SCG.

Actually by the time SU and JSU's issues came to light, it was too late for anyone to make any changes that would have an immediate impact. This APR cycle is for the 2009-2013 school years. Our bans were in 2011.

They didn't need to revisit it last season for TSU, MVSU, etc.

And the NCAA DOES consider the SCG a "postseason" game. We don't need to go through that again. :shame:

And once again who is this mysterious "y'all" that you talking about? :confused: It was proven that it was one poster in particular from PV doing all the finger pointing.

Your President didn't stand up for JSU and SU.. so Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:

Valley was never going to be a factor in the first place. They didn't have an offense and they lost the majority of their defense. Looks like 19 in a row for JSU no matter how you cut it!

Yep. It was definitely more than one person from PV.

Folks clowned on SU and JSU for weeks. Mostly JSU because SU had no chance of making it to the championship game that year and JSU did.
