And then Oregon does this

Come on, bruh.

There's a SEC school in Louisiana too and I believe I've seen you say that you hate them with a passion. :emlaugh: Folks fought for civil rights in Lousiana too, but you don't see people rushing to defend the man like these Bammers do. I thoroughly enjoy how easy it is to get them riled up. Say the least little thing against Bama and they nearly break their necks trying to defend massa. While I just sit back and laugh and shake my head because I've never seen anything like it.

EXACTLY

The difference is they are defending the football team.

Being raised on JSU football, and living in Jackson, I'd still follow JSU and the SWAC. I keep up with how all the conferences do with Mississippi schools in them from JUCO on up.
It's is POSSIBLE to root for your school and your state's schools. Thanks Robber...
Why not in Alabama? 4 out of the last 5 nat'l champs perhaps?

The difference is they are defending the football team. Not the politics of folks from Alabama......One thing you said is true, I don't like LSU the school. I do pull for their football team and the black kids, chiefly from Louisiana that play for them.

Can you separate the football team from the politics? Even on SEC Rant, they joke about how the average Bama fan can't name a building on campus other than the stadium and don't know what the inside of a college classroom looks like. These people yelling Roll Tide on Saturdays are the same people who are hating Obama every other day of the week. Simply because he's Black. They may say it's for other reasons, but that's the real reason.

These people ARE Alabama. Yes, they love their football team but they are the reason Alabama is a bass ackwards state just like other Southern states. You'd think someone who went to a SWAC school wouldn't have the blind allegiance to a place where the Governor stood in the door to keep people like them from attending. Separate football from politics? George Wallace didn't think of it that way. Neither did Ross Barnett:

Should we stop spending our money at major hotels that didn't allow us to stay in them during desegregation? Should our kids refuse academic scholarships to those schools? Should we not accept jobs at state agencies that weren't hiring our people during desegregation? Where does it stop? What makes you think that these people have blind allegiances? What makes you think that these black people agree with the politics of the state? Did you note how black Alabama votes went in the last presidential election?

Obama votes in Alabama:

Blacks 95% Whites 15%

So let me get this straight...

Someone from Alabama posted a thread about the Tides locker room and most folks said "thats sweet."

Now that someone has started a thread about the top facilities in the country (assuming) the Bama folks are thumbsing it down? Huh?

I know we cant talk college football without yall thinking somebody is talking bad about yalls daddy, but come on son. Bama is good, might be the best in country, but they didnt belong in the last 2 championship games and that kid had no business winning that Heisman. That was mostly politics.

All that does is make me wonder what kind of confused n*gro supports Obama AND Alabama. :shame:

GR, go take your medication, man. You talking out of your head again. Bama hasn't had a Heisman winner since 2009 (Mark Ingram) - that was four years ago. And they didn't belong in the last two Championship games? LMAO. I think you got it backwards. In the 2012 game, LSU didn't belong in the game. They're the ones who got shut out, embarrased, and only crossed the fifty yard line once. And Bama didn't belong there? In the 2013 game, I'd say the team that trailed 28-0 at halftime, 35-0 early in the third, and got blown out 42-14 before it was over with is the team that didn't belong in the Championship game.

And yes, I'm defending Bama . . . not that they need it. One more thing . . .

I'll let it go and let them defend themselves. However, there is nothing confusing about those election returns. It easily states where their alliances are. I don't think they are the least bit confused.

I don't know about all of that. They whooped y'all azz during the regular season in 2011. :emlaugh:

 You know what I mean, man. By the way they played, they looked like the team that didn't belong there.

Roll Tide Roll ! ! !

Uuuuh, Im talking about Ingram...just horrible with names and too lazy to go look it up. He won that Heisman mostly do to politics. There were at least 3 other people more deserving than him that year. And you didnt have to specify 2009 because he is Bamas only Heisman winner. Thats probably the poilitics that got him the trophy.

Look, Im not going to try to have a discussion with you about Bama football. I know youve been raised to worship white college football in Alabama and no logic I bring to the discussion will get you to see anything different. Bama should NOT have been voted to be in the championship game against LSU because they didnt win their conference or even their own division. They backed into that game based on politics. LSU came to Tuscaloosa and kicked that ass during the regular season and should not have had to face them again. If LSU had lost the SEC championship game while Bama was sitting at home, would they have been voted to play in the BCS championship game? Probably not....my point is it wasnt fair for Bama to be there. Now remember, I dont have a dog in this fight, just a fan of college football.

And last year Bama backed their way into the BCS game. Again they lost AT HOME to JohnnieFootball but somehow hung around to get into the BCS game. They were more deserving last year than 2011. Good luck to old Bama, but I'd rather see teams win it on the field than a bunch of politics giving teams BCS championships.

GR, just a few quick questions: First off, were Bama and LSU the two best teams in the country in 2011? I'll answer it for you . . . yes. Secondly, hasn't it always been the goal of the BCS to match the two best teams in the country for the championship? Again, I'll answer for you . . . yes. Third question: In 2012 didn't both teams ranked ahead of Alabama (Oregon and Kansas St.) also lose a game late in the season? Oregon lost to Stanford at home, and K-State got pounded by Baylor. Bama went on to beat Georgia (I believe Georgia was ranked #3 at the time).

I really don't even know why I bother with you man.

I'm not commenting on this bs about who supports who and why......I just want to say that Bama's new facility is nice, but dang Oregon didn't spare a cent when it came to the design and the cost of materials to build that place. They are both outstanding facilities, but its obvious in Oregon's case that Phil Knight wrote a blank check on it. I will add also that Bama's weight room is still better by design and function, and I don't like the "zero barrier" of Oregon's lockers. Anyone that has played football know that there is always some nasty stanky mofos on a team.....I want as many barriers between him and me as possible.

Lawd. I'm quoting GR... you know things have gone sideways.

Not only did bama not win their conference, or division, but got beat at home (automatic disqualifier...you can't even defend your own house). they had no place playing for a national championship. if you believe they did, then they lost it on a saturday night in tuscaloosa to some Bengal tigers.

i just can't see supporting them for anything. the u of bama or auburn never did anything for me ..... really. they did a little sum sum but nothing like the education both my parents got at bama state. i went to grad at univ of tennessee but I barely rep them. i rep my wife's school xavier harder than any majority school.

You escaped.

You need to tell the rest of them we's free now.

:smh:

If Alabama didn't have all these national titles I don't think that some people on here would have such a nervous break down when we yell...

ROLL TIDE!!!

lol Oh well

its only the older Black folks.... I bet some of yall still sit in the back of the bus. You watch major league baseball right? Blacks were ALWAYS allowed to play in the major leagues also right?
