Check this out... PV had 110 total yards of offense w/ 20 rushing yards and 90 passing yards. PV also had 10 penalties for 100 yards. Half of PV's rushing yards was the total # of penalties we had. We dayamed near had more penalty yards than total offense.
Y'all can laugh now. I'm not joking or kidding. These are stats from last night's game.

It was far more than 31k in the stadium. The stadium was nearly filled.

ESPN also has the stadium seating capacity wrong at 44,215 when the Vet seats 60,000. Last year when we played Campbell for homecoming they had the attendance at 45,596 when it was 51,596.

This number is not correct. ESPN even has the seating capacity wrong for the stadium at 44,215 when the vet holds 60,000. When we played Campbell last year they had the attendance at 44,596 when it was 51,596. Also when Deion made the statement about ticket sales ,the reported number on ESPN was still above 40,000 for JSU's biggest games even though the actual number was higher than that. So when he talked about 28,000 tickets with 60,000 people in the stands NO report had that number because even WITH the incorrect number by ESPN the attendance was STILL reported higher than 40,000 for JSU's biggest games by them.
ESPN can only report what is being put on the official stat line for attendance. The VET hasn't been 60K for a long time, remember they don't sit shoulder to shoulder anymore and y'all still have that tarp over some of those seats.

That still does not mean that is the OFFICIAL number of attendance. As I said before even the seating capacity of the stadium is reported incorrect at 44,215 capacity which is wrong. Last year the actual number for homecoming was 51,596 and not 44,956 as reported. The Vet's total capacity holds 60,492 and even with that tarp covering a SMALL section that is not taking away 16,277 seats.

If it's in the OFFICIAL stat line that is reported to the NCAA, than it is OFFICIAL.
According to the Mississippi Vet Stadium website it says "This historical venue was originally built in 1950 is operated by Jackson State University. After expanding in 1980, and more recent modifications it now accommodates 44,215 people with bleacher seating."

The homecoming attendance number from last year was also listed as 45,595 but was not correct as OFFICIAL! It was 51,596 and multiple news sources such as the Clarion Ledger reported that number. Also Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium DOES NOT SEAT 44,215 and ANY Jacksonian will tell you that and not ONE website. Also a quick GOOGLE search will tell you that as well. The stadium seats 60,492. How many "bleacher seating" has been used at the stadium? NONE. Veterans Memorial Stadium has not used bleacher seating since the the stadium was enclosed in the endzone in the early 80s! The stadium holds 60,492 and everybody knows this. The point that I am making is that what is being REPORTED in that stat line is not what's in ACTUAL TOTALITY of attendance. Even the ESPN stat report has the attendance from that game as 45,596 and not 48,763.

You are correct! This is not correct! I was there and we had close to 50K in attendance...I don't know who is doing the counting but they are absolutely off the mark.
I watched the game and that visitor’s side was skimpy. You guys remind me of Donald Trump’s inauguration attendance statements.

Do you have cataracts? The stadium still seats over 60k. And let's just say it's 20k on the home side..20k in the middle.. and 20k on the visitors side (which was about half full). 40k alone is on the home side and in the middle..
