At some point, the rule of common sense has to apply. What sense does it make to have a West Division with five teams and an East Division with only four teams? What other conference in the NCAA has a conference championship game with odd number teams?

THAT'S A GREAT POSITION TO TAKE FOR A DEBATE BUT DEBATES AND OUTSIDE OPINIONS DON'T RULE OR RUN ANY CONFERENCE. WHAT ARE THOSE FACTS THAT YOU SO PROUDLY STOOD BEHIND JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO?

I didn't say the conference wasn't capable of handling the situation. I said any new school that joins the conference (that comes from DII) would not be able to compete right away for a conference championship.

So? Neither did Bama State, A&M, PV, or UAPB. Why would it all of a sudden be a problem now?

Because the (NCAA) rules have since changed. It's about a 4 or 5 year process BD. Schools can just reclassify from a lower division and immediately become eligible for conference titles. That is a fact.

C"mon man. As I stated NEITHER did Bama State, A&M, PV or UAPB. Granted PV was different because they never left the conference entirely they just dropped football for a year.

But the process having change still doesn't change the fact that this is what they may need to seriously consider to get the football program back on its feet.

You have other schools doing it every other year it seems as it relates to them coming in as a D2 and shortly thereafter moving up to fcs. It didn't seem to be a problem in the process for WSSU until THEY realize they really weren't ready.

What the hell do you expect when you post things on a message board?

I expect this kind of foolishness from the mighty mississippi mafia. I thought you were smarter than this

For supposed educated adults I'd expect them to speak about the actual topic not their petty feelings all the time like a group of high school girls. But it's painfully obvious that's a hell of a task.

So for argument's sake Valley drops to D-II how should the conference respond? Add a team....do away with the SWAC championship...if you create a problem how do you fix the other issues?

I'm glad someone brought this up. We act like schools are disposable. Hell, the Southwest Conference began to crumble after SMU got the death penalty.

It's not like Tennessee State or FAMU got an evil Kermit meme saying "drop Valley and we'll be there the next day"

Man I see why Bluedog posting this type of crazy nonsense. It was after 11pm and look at all the tabs open on his computer in the pic.......nothing involving pudding.

So basically you just admitted to porn surfing and whacking off every night as your past time .

That is the VERY point he will not address. If Valley were to make the decision to go DII, the conference takes a hit. You can't just swap teams and assume all will be well.

It goes both ways. There is no need to get "petty" in attempting to belittle the intelligence of the posters simply because you don't like how they've responded to the thread you started. If you feel the poster's post is irrelevant, simply don't reply to it.

I would still like to know what happens after Valley is dropped.

Blue Dog is so focused and frustrated about people disagreeing with him that he is not providing a valid solution. If you are a consultant to the SWAC Office and they task you with removing a team you are not going to just simply list the team but also supporting documentation as to why. Next you would offer a minimum of three alternatives and solutions.

That's the manner in which I was taught from a fielded consultant.

BINGO!

Actually you and a few others are so focused on carrying your pettiness over from Facebook you think it's normal behavior and it makes you encapable of seeing just how abnormal you're behaving.

When anybody actually address the thread topic I answer accordingly and I challenge you or anyone else to show otherwise. Contrary to popular opinion stating an opinion about how stupid you think a topic is or how I should be surfing for porn at 11pm or any other childish comments isn't addressing the thread topic.

Here's a heads up. It's okay to just keep it moving if you don't have an answer, an honest opinion or if the topic is just simply over your head. I do it all the time.

But it is you who is talking about something that happened on Facebook. Who else in this thread said anything else about something happening on FB? The question is a fair one, which you have not answered.

What is the SWAC to do if Valley leaves?
