NOT NEARLYYYYYYYYYYYY as boring as you all. I mean yall really suck and to the highest degree at that and the sad part of it is that you all have no past to live off.:lmao::lmao:

Let's be real. The Boom is a joke. Don't fool yourself. You are Boogie with a capital BOOGIE. I have never liked the Boom. The best thing you got going are the dance girls.

Yes, JSU needs a band director but on our worst year, we are better than or as good as AAMU. Yeah, we are living on our past but we still hold it down....boring.... Don't think so.

That stlye of marching the Boom does is terrible. All yall do is march to a corner and kick your legs in the air like a monkey. That is so 60's. :emlaugh:

 Are you talking about tiger run-on? It's memorable and tradition.

When it comes to tradition and TRADEMARK style, what does AAMU have? Cause for the life of me, I can't remember anything about AAMU band (hell, I can't even remember the band's name), and I'm not even trying to be funny.

Something's are not meant to last for ever and that is one of them. :scared:

See!?! TP can't remember ya'll band name either. :lmao:

The only reason people remember the name "Boom" is because after hearing that sad display of sound and terrible marching technique all they can think of is "Boom, Boom, Boom". :lmao:

Man I am being real. I never knew A&M's band existed until 2000. Also its good for the Boom to be a joke but hey thats your opinion. Come to think of it, I teach here in ATL and most of my students, when asked, only know of FAMU, THE BOOM and THE Jukebox and thats being real. Whether its past or present. They are still producing quality sound and entertaining others. :lmao::lmao:

You really could've kept that.... really should have.

:lmao: There is absolutely NOTHING that stands out with your band absolutely nothing.......its almost like playing the stands.....Out side of Alabama they are extinct:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'll see for myself tomorrow.

Not saying AAMU sounds bad, but arrangements don't mean much if you got a sorry-sounding band.

well are no where near a sorry sounding band, so that statement is a wrap. the best thing this year about us is the sound and arrangements. those have never been an area of my concern. the problems we(as in MMW Alumni) and others are having with the program is the direction of the band and performance on the field. the morale has gone down because of those various reasons.

I totally disagree that AAMU needs a new band director, but I do agree with someone's statement that it was not Mr. Wesley's fault, but mainly it was due to the creativity and show planning committee of the band. How well was the show executed, and the theme of the show and creativity has alot to do with it. Mr. Wesley is an extremely nice person, who knows his stuff. He offered me a full scholarship to go to AAMU, but I declined and chose TnSt instead.

Alot of people have said that Tennessee State needs a new director, and that is just plain ridiculous. As stated earlier, the show committee needs to plan something exciting for a major Classic game, one that will carry over good with the crowd. Also the announcer of your band plays a vital role to your performance as well.

i agree and disagree with some of your statements. no none of the stuff that is going on is initiated by Wesley, however none of the stuff that is going on is being overriden by him either. he has pretty much made himself an an emeritus. that is the problem. i went to Tennessee St my freshman year, but transferred to A&M because of a scholarship. i know exactly how the program is ran. that is how it is now at A&M. the reason i don't think Tnstate(Prof Graves is so nice, i still speak to him when i see him to this day) needs a new director because you all have someone under Prof in position to handle things the way they should be.

yes it is the committee who plans for a major game, but it is also the job as an Assistant Director/and or Director to accept or decline the proposed show. when i marched, i was on dance committee and there were times when shows were declined by Wesley/the band and we had to go back to the drawing board. obviously this is not being done anymore, so therefore i blame the powers that be. i've always said that your band is a reflection of whos callin the shots, and the reflection i've been seeing aint cuttin it. its time.
