A&M needs a new band director!

You all are going back and forth about a game that happened 5 years ago!! All the parties involved should be out of both bands by now so it really doesn't matter does it??

Forget about '02. A&M clearly lost the battle to the BOOM yesterday and the BOOM didn't even show up.

The halftime show was boring as hell. A&M actually walked onto the field with no music and then some of the band members didn't know where they were supposed to be.
The sound was unimpressive and the formations were simple and basic stuff that you'd see in high school.

At one point, I forgot halftime was still going on due to the excess boredom.

Upon exiting the stadium, the band showed no energy or showmanship whatsoever. I guess that loss took what little energy they had.

They're lucky the BOOM didn't show up, or it would've gotten REALLY REALLY ugly for A&M. Those high schoolers would've flocked to JSU's side once the BOOM started marching in to "Get Ready" just like the Southern fans did, and our fans would've REALLY been off the chain after that victory.

I agree with the title of this thread.... AAMU would have gotten two a** kickin's yesterday had the BOOM showed up.... and the band one would have been NO WHERE as close as the game.

the end

D@MM LIE!!!
I remember a number of people from jsu that personally told me that yall took an L. I dont need a video, I can just use my memory. Just bcause your band takes an L it doesnt mean that it is the end of the world.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:Man stop you can't be serious. You obviously need something if you think AAMU gave JSU a L in 02. Also, you are exactly right, it is not the end of the world when your band takes and L. The only way JSU took an L from AAMU in 02 is if they (JSU) didn't play not one arrangement. I went to the game and being that it was so long ago and I couldn't precisely remember it, I decided to pull that one out of the closet and ............... after cleaning the dust off my video...aint no way in the "LL" JSU took no L from AAMU that day. Have you even bothered to listened to what was recorded from different angles of both bands? If you do then you couldn't even choke up to say that crap. Sorry I'm not buying what you are selling. Some of you ought to be ashame of yourselves. Someone please post that garbage! Please. I tend to give credit where credit is due but you have to be drunk in the mind to think that was even a close battle. I'm still rotgdflmao. You can have 500 AAMU folks say what JSU folks told them, you couldn't pay me to believe that. Im still :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Dayum a 2002 battle, what I saw on yesterday from AAMU band was NOT impressive. However, I LOVE AAMU fans (sat on AAMU side). We had a good time yesterday! Good game, love the stadium/campus and worth the trip to Huntsville. Huntsville area is BEAUTIFUL--- gorgeous mountains, trees and lakes! We're definitely going back! Alabama definitely has a jewel in Huntsville!

i can't believe people talking about 2002......heyal, go head & include the '04, '05 & '06 years.......y miss out on those years??

We could've included '07 had JSU showed up with the way AAMU was sounding yesterday.

They always sound like that, Same Isht Different Year :D, Nawl forreal though I liked how they sounded in 06, especially playing that "Come to Me" by Diddy and "Deja Vu. Theyve always sucked on the field though

explain.... AAMU is missing trumpets this year but they dont SOUND bad.

And that makes a difference, especially when they have the melody! Ya'll trumpets were weak as tap water! Why does the trumpets have the melody on a beautiful song like Chrisette Michelle's "If I Have My Way?" If trumpets are not your band's strengths, write music that plays up another instrumentation's strength. But it's not just your trumpets, overall the band didn't sound clean on a lot of the songs and fanfares. For starters, the national anthem was terrible. And that Munster's theme fanfare and Mr. Loverman? Please don't EVER play that again.
I will say that the danceline's song (don't know the name of it) during the half-time show was pretty strong.

And did ya'll suspend some of your dancing girls? Why was there only four girls performing? That looked odd on and off the field! The little junior high/high school dance line ya'll had two sections over from the band was outshining your own college danceline.

dance girls and some flags were suspended... but they still performed well (divas did, never pay attention to the flags)

Lol....2002....against A&m....how could I forget that game...lol

No comment.....and why are we still talking about 2002???

I've said this before and I will say it again. AAMU's band sounds better in Mumford Stadium. No lie. AAMU's stadium is beautiful but the sound has nothing to bounce on...Its so open.

At the same time everyone around me was yelling what is wrong with them? Why are they walking onto the field? A lot of people were disappointed. No lie.
