4 of the worst quarterbacks in the SWAC

Nt,
As far as the MCC, yes I fully expect to kick A&M's arse again!!!!!! For the sake of the crowd and the television audience, I hope you all bring a real team this year to at least make it halfway competitive.
But you will lose!!!!! NO DOUBT IN MY MIND. ASU WILL STOMP A&M!!!!!!

Is that emphatic enough for you??????????

Yeah, I guess so...but you're STILL full of garbage! :p

In about a week and a half, we ALL will get an indication of what shape our respective squads are in.
Let's see how many tunes will then change...;)

Frat,

Since you're into posting newspaper stories...read below..

The quarterback race at Alabama State is now down to two.

But the decision wasn?t made by judging on-field performance.

Instead, head coach L.C. Cole dismissed transfer Nick Fortson for repeated violation of team rules.

?I?m just not going to put up with guys that can?t follow the rules,? Cole said of Fortson?s dismissal. ?This was a problem with Fortson not following our rules and I?m just not going to have that.?

Fortson enrolled in ASU in the spring and worked out with the Hornets through spring practice. He led the second team offense during the Hornets? Black and Gold game last spring, while senior Jermaine Crenshaw led the first team.

In that game, Fortson seemed to be a further along than Crenshaw and looked to have the edge coming into the fall.

?We had hoped for good things from Nick,? Cole said. ?He was one of the guys we were counting on to fill that spot.?

Fortson?s departure leaves Crenshaw to battle transfer Gary Brashears for a position that, at this point, is far from undecided.

?We definitely don?t have a clear-cut guy yet,? offensive coordinator Johnie Cole said. ?We haven?t been at it long but nobody has really distanced themselves as of yet.?

According to L.C., Crenshaw has benefited from the time he spent backing up former ASU quarterback Darnell Kennedy.

?That?s helping him a lot at this point,? L.C. said. ?He?s seen what it takes to be a leader on this team and he?s been out there working hard trying to step into that role.?

On the other hand, Brashears spent time at the University of Arkansas, where he started three games for the Razorbacks, and none of the coaches are overlooking his big-game experience.

?He?s been in the fire,? Johnie said. ?Whenever you play in a game in the SEC, you know what it takes to win and how it feels to be under pressure.?

But no matter who it is, the Hornets are in desperate need of finding a No. 1 quarterback. The young offensive unit needs an on-the-field leader and that?s why L.C. is leaning towards Crenshaw at this point.

?With his experience, the other guys kind of gel around Crenshaw,? L.C. said. ?He?s definitely been the guy that?s the best leader so far.?

Not a very GLOWING report if you ask me, but you may use a
different kind of logic.

Alum,

The article you posted stated some positive comments about ASU's QBs
1)Crenshaw "has benefited from the time spent backing up Kennedy
2)Brashears "has big-game experience and knows what it takes to win"

Now please point out ANY positive comments about A&M's QBs from the article I posted.

Still find it unbelievable that the A&M crowd is questioning somebody's QB or somebody's offense. Damn!

Hey Mighty

Is that where I say the same thing to you about your weak defense? I mean you always question our defense when yours is worse.

And you consider those to be GLOWING endorsements, based on what you claim your team will do in this year's MCC, or any other game for that matter? That different kind of logic has indeed come into play! :lmao: :lmao:

LMAO Again!!!!

Just as I thought! YALL AIN'T GOT NO QUARTERBACK!!!!!

:lmao:

Why is it soooo hard for you to say that? You knew this all along and decided to dodge the real question.

Kekekekekeeeee..... He said that they was gonna repeat what they did last year..... HAHAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAAHAAA!!!!!!! I guess they gonna put a tape in a VCR and replay the season. That's the only way that's gonna happen...... :lmao:

Right, right!!!!!!!

Too bad you left the smack board so soon last year. You weren't even around to face the music when A&M laid that big ole egg at the MCC. so sad!!!!!
Remember when you threw it in when you realized just how sorry A&M was gonna be. That was so sad too.

I'm sure you're getting daily updates on what's going on at ASU.
So I won't even bother to tell you

But can you tell me about A&M's QBs? How are they looking? Any TDs yet?

Your first 2 QBs aint led a damn drive yet and you wanna talk about QBs.
C'mon man. C'mon!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Blu Panther, but any mention of the 4 worst QBs in the SWAC has got to include the 9 at A&M!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Is your camera lens busted? That bad sound from GSU hurt my ear drums

When it comes to SU I am always right. I said Victor Ike sucked and I was right. I consulted with a high ranking UT athlete on that one.

If you've popped popcorn, SU's quarterbacks are the kernels who don't pop while everyone else does.

Just curious........

If Brashears is a "big game SEC QB", why is he at Bama State?

What happened to that "All World" QB from Memphis that you guys recruited a couple of years back?

I get cramps from laughing at these scrubs.
You probably get cramps, but it ain't from our QB's. Try midol, it might help you with your cramps problem, also, don't wear no white pants while you have them cramps.

Why did SU pass on Bruce anyway? A few years ago wasn't some fool bragging about how SU dominates New Orlean kids?

Why did SU pass on Bruce and Alcorn's Donald Carrie anyway? A few years ago wasn't some fool bragging about how SU dominates New Orlean kids?

SUe also passed on Cortez Hankton and Oliver Celestin; some of St. Aug's finest. I guess they were six deep in the receiver and strong saftey positions.

Oh well.

Your right, I guess SU was "so loaded" they did not need them.

They lost their key white men, the city of New Orleans and the city of Houston. Then they want to go the FAMU route and rely on a d-1 transfer. Now I see why their program is going down the toilet bowl.

Is there a need for a new stadium?
